Good 50º cloudy morning. Hit 85º yesterday.
"They" say a 10% chance of precip today. Doubt it.
...the noisy crows are back on the barn
roof!
Wow, another Friday already!
The Bruise snuck out the door about 6:30 or 7pm last evening ... and
was gone all night again. Dang cat! He was waiting when I let Dude out at
6am this morning. The last time I had called him was about 1:30am. Then he goes out just a little bit ago when I'm taking
a picture of the mountain and crows and has a blast rolling around in the dirt!
Goofy guy! He's back in side and like the other day when
he was gone all night, he'll go upstairs and sleep all day!

LOL from Ike Saben....
Yesterday a trip into Medford for a doc visit. Then to
Trader Joe's.
Such fun. They had canned artichoke hearts on sale, got
some. Also Ricotta cheese, mascarpone, sugar snap peas, dolmas (rice wrapped in grape leaves),
and Aioli Garlic Mustard Sauce. Oh, and some 2 Buck Chuck... actually it's $2.39
now. Came home, got cracked corn at Ace. The guy from ground control called me
and will come out and spray bark on the dirt on the side of the house. It won't
be the big bark, like used in gardens, it will be the kind called "walk on" bark
that is good for paths and compresses. It will take 8 yards.
Brian suggested I get some of that weed control fabric
and put that down before the bark is sprayed ...
My new computer was delivered by FedEx Mike. It's a Dell
and has Windows 8. Something I will have to learn and get used to. Will take it
over and have Turk go through it for objects inside I don't want/need before
hooking it up. This computer is ok, but older and running so slow and has it's
glitches.
Didn't have that martini... maybe today.... had a nice
phone chat with Jeannie, Linda, Dee, and Patty. Dinner was reruns but good. I saw
Rachael Ray and John Schnieder (Dukes of Hazard) was on. He's in a new show
called 'The Haves and Have Nots' on OWN channel. He's just as good looking as
ever.
The show sounds interesting. Will give it a
watch.
All I know. TGIF for all you working stiffs. Nuff said.
Ciao.

Congrats on the new computer!! Now the learning begins.
I tried to read about the piece on the red tomatoes, etc. healthy, but it kept freezing so I will go back and read it later.
I think spaghetti is in order for dinner tonight. :)
Love that Bruise! What are you gonna do with that cat!! Wandering is in his blood! That would worry me too!
XO Trisha
Yes, he makes me laugh and he makes me worry. Being feral for so long I am sure he's keeping an eye out for anything that would harm him. I'm sure he goes off into the trees, but probably finds a safe place to spend the dark hours and comes back when it's light. When he gets older he might, like Harley, want to stay inside. Harley used to stay out and hunt, but when he got older he would only go out the back door, come around and beg at the front door to come back in. Spaghetti sounds great! xo
OK Just finished reading the healthy tips. How about that olive oil!!! Think I will start drinking it! LOL Well,it does say that it has anti aging properties!! OK THEN! :)
XO Trisha
RE: Bruise, he probably likes a little warm, fuzzy mouse casserole, every now and then--you know how WE all like dinner out! Also RE: Computer--we got a new one last year in Reno while on the road--has Windows 8, caused a ton of headaches, money, still trying to get used to it. Wishing you LOADS of luck and getting help is very smart and necessary thing to do. GloW
T, I LOVE olive oil. I infuse it and drizzle it on everything. Well, not on ice cream!
GloW, I am lucky to have a very smart and knowledgable computer guy. Also, I have a Windows 7 disc, so if the Windows 8 makes me crazy, I can have Turk uninstall it and put in the Windows 7. ox
Beach Boys are playing tomorrow night at the Arboretum.
Brian is correct about the weed fabric. It will keep the bark from "disappearing" underneath the soil.
I named my Brian after Brian Wilson! And thanks re the weed fabric! xo
