Good 43º morning. Yesterday we hit 89º and in Grants Pass a
record of 92º. "They" say it's gonna be cooler today.
Sorry for the line in the photo, was having a real bad time with the
photoshop and AOL this morning. Uncooperative, both of them!

Here is an update Trish posted on her FB page from her nephew's
family.. Because he was in the Air National Guard and also served in Iraq... his funeral today will be military .....
An update from the Dan Wassom
family:
"After receiving so many questions of
concern I wanted to update everyone with what I know. Suzanne left the hospital
this evening and will soon be reunited with the girls, who are doing as well as
can be expected. They will be staying with family in the area. For those of us
that knew Dan, we are not at all surprised at the details surrounding his tragic
death. He was a rare caliber of man that will truly be missed, evidenced by the
shear outpouring of support we have received in just 2 days. Thank you again to
all that have taken the time to offer condolences, money, support, and even a
home and vehicle. Through this dark time, when we might question the world
around us, I personally have been touched by the kindness and compassion of each
and everyone of you, and hope others too can take some solace in
this.
For those who would like to see it, I
have included a link to NBC's coverage tonight on the Nightly News. Please use
your own judgment in viewing. It was well done, but may be to soon for some of
us."
Yesterday I weed-eated,
mowed, cleaned porch furniture. Exhausted myself. Today I will probably do the
same. Patty and Cliff called. They were at the coast and it was 80º there! Can't
escape it.... in a few days it will be cool again and possibility of rain. You
know I had my truck washed again!!!

Thanks BFF!!! xo
I saw that segment on nightly news about this wonderful man. Brought me to tears. We should all hug family and friends every time we meet as you never what waits ahead of us. God bless his entire family.
Thank you Joan. Yes, I agree. When the hugs stop it is so difficult! xo
Sue, thank you again for posting the update from Dan's family. Also thank you to your friends and their kind thoughts and words.
It makes you realize how fragile life really is.
