Good 49º somewhat cloudy morning.... rained windy late
yesterday. Total of 1/4" of rain.
"Angry" doesn't quite cover it. I sent in my Oregon Income Tax along with a
check and then the end of March I sent my check for my quarterly payment. I got a
letter from them saying I haven't paid them! OMG. I was ready to send copies of
the checks and a letter, but called the Department of Revenue yesterday afternoon
when I got home. Talked to a SUPER nice lady, Christy, and she said what
happened was the quarterly check was applied to 2014 instead of 2013 like it was
supposed to be and they screwed up. She said she'll fix it, call back in a week
to make sure. WHEW.
This from my friend Cyndi Moreno (yes, Pete's
wife!)....
You don't need to understand Chinese to get this... These dogs

Military Spouses Day
Military Spouses Day
Military Spouses Day is
a day to recognize and honor the real backbone of the military..... the spouses
of our soldiers. This day recognizes the contributions made by military spouses
to the spirit and well being of soldiers and military communities. Where would
military moral be without their spouses behind
them?

WOW! I did not know there was a Military Spouse Day. I have copied that info and will go to my friend Ashley's FB page and post it there. Her hubby just finished his time in the Army after being deployed to Afgan. for a year. They have been on base in El Paso and she is dying to get home. (She is a Valley Girl) She is also expecting their first baby.
Thanks for that! I know she will love it.
XO Trisha
Give my best and a big thank you to Ashely and her husband! xo
Yes, I did Sue. She tells me he is applying to Riverside Sheriff's Department when they get home. He is a big guy and will make a good one!
