Good 36º somewhat cloudy morning.
Found this composite photo of the full moon eclipse on Monday. The "Blood
moon".
I know a few of you are my age, so maybe you might remember a cartoon duck
named Willie Quack. A couple brought their 'pet duck' female mallard into the
vets when I was there. Her name is Ducky. Hmmmm.... isn't that just Ducky! Well,
old Willie Quack could be a name or a question. Anyway, here is a cup my mom got
me of Willie... We're talking 1950's... Can't find anything on the internet
about Willie... only Duck Dynasty stuff.

Trip.... part 3:
Mileage from RR to Woodland...
Left Linda and Andy's early on Saturday the 5th ... well, about 8am after a
wonderful breakfast. Traffic in Sacramento is not good either. Everyone in a
hurry. Duh, isn't that the driving theme in all of California? Anyway, just
north the speed limit is 70 MPH and in Sac it's 65 MPH. Does anyone go 65? HA!
They are still going 75+ !!! YIKES. Get in a lane and stay there.
Then down into Central California... passing one of my BFFs towns (Hey
Jeannie and Bill... you've got one too!)
Then to the Grapevine where the clouds looked threatening...
Traffic on the 210...
Traffic in LA SUCKS@! OMG, 3 in the afternoon and the freeways (ha! stupid
name) were bumper to bumper. UGH.
Mileage from Woodland to Covina....
Kristen, Alex, Jack and I went to BJ's in Arcadia for dinner
I was good this whole trip (losing another pound! for a total of 9 so far)
and had the grilled salmon with couscous and veggies. YUMMY!
Jack had this tremendous pizza.... It sure looked GOOD!
Kristen had a salad and Alex a BLT.
Me and my baby girl....
A good visit with Kris and the kids. Next trip will be Alex's graduation in
June, I hope! Let's see... Medford to Ontario and rent a car. Yes!
All I know. Happy Hump Day. Dentist Day for me. Ciao.

What a great trip. Your whole family has WONDERFUL smiles. May you get to see them up close and personal more often.
Love reading your trip log. Yes traffic here is unbelievable! "They" say people are leaving California but I don't see sny signs of it!
Great seeing pic of the family. It's amazing how much Alex looks like her mom. Unless they are next to each other I can't tell them apart!
Yes, to Ontario and renting a car sounds like the perfect idea for your next trip. Hope we can all meet for lunch on that trip.
XOXO Trisha
