Good 48º very dark cloudy raining morning. Last night it started raining
BUCKETS and the wind was HOWLING! Wow. Did that on and off all night. The rain
gauge shows we got 1/2".
The radar over head doesn't show as much possibility for that kind of rain
today, but it's comin' down now!
Yesterday I went tot he Law Enforcement/Fire luncheon at the Elks.
Had a great time chatting with the LASD folks. (Riffle, Allgoods, Horne,
Yellin, Ray, Schieber) Some will join us back at the Elks for the St. Pat's
dinner on the 15th ... for Eric's famous corned beef and cabbage. Bought my
tickets yesterday. Then Dee showed up and we had a couple glasses of wine down
in the lounge. Great to see her and see she's getting well from her surgery.
Girl, you are looking good!! Tammy and Paul headed to the movies to see
Anchorman 2.

Now if you like to make spaghetti or anything with a good
marinara sauce and you want it quick and easy, here's
Sue's Vodka
Sauce
1 quart simple marinara sauce
1 cup vodka
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Simmer tomato sauce and vodka in large heavy
skillet over low heat until sauce reduces by about 1/4, stirring often, about 20
minutes.
Stir in cream and simmer over low heat until
sauce is heated through. Stir in Parmesan cheese until well blended. Serve over
your favorite pasta, use as a pizza sauce, mix with cooked meatballs for an
awesome sandwich... etc...
All I know. Happy TBT. Nuff said.
Ciao.

Good morning!
I know this was not on your blog this morning, but I finally got a chance to see the ice cream video that reminded you of Chaka, and you are so right!!! When that dog grabbed the cone, I jumped. Wonder if the lady still has her hand. LOL
Yeah for Dee!!!!! So glad she is back on the scene. Missed you. Sorry I couldn't join you yesterday. Next time.
Picture of the day is fabulous!
I know this is a short comment, but back to read some stuff.
Have a wonderful day! xo

Oh, cute picture of Kristen. Bet she is glad you don't style her hair today. LOL
I had to go to bunco last night so for a quick and easy dinner I fixed a Digiorno pizza. Second time we've had one. I must say it is the best frozen pizza I have ever had! Thick puffy crust and oh so good! Better than many delivered ones we've had. They will become a staple in my freezer!
XO Trisha
Will try that sauce. Stay dry.
