Good 44º still raining morning.
Rained on and off all day yesterday, got to a whopping 56º, and rained
through the night. As of this morning we've gotten another 3/4" of rain! The
total for this storm is up to 4½" so far.
Soggy. Looks like it's "supposed" stop for a
few.
This is what passed over in the night...
I took the trash can to the road in the afternoon. I didn't let Dude do his
'run' with me as it was so wet and so muddy. Didn't want to have to clean him.
He wasn't all too happy.
I forgot to put in yesterday's blog that Saturday night I watched Gravity
with Sandra Bullock. (pay per view)
Interesting Clooney's role was so rather insignificant. Thought he'd have a
bigger part. Anyway, I really LIKED the film! Intense. Wow. I was going to start
watching it (5pm) then eat dinner and come back and finish watching, but I
couldn't move from my chair! I sat there and enjoyed every bit for nearly 2
hours! (The $4.99 ppv was a LOT cheaper than going to the theater... besides my
chair is clean and comfy! AND I had wine!) Great movie~!! Sandra should have won
something!!!
Here are your WD-40 tips of the week...
With all the rain we've had I did a little video of my seasonal creek
rushing down the pasture... turkeys hanging out and way up the hill are 5 deer,
but hard to see..
...and the deer were watching...Up in the pasture the geese were having a territory dispute...
I got a new bedspread and pillow shams. Dude likes it! Lions and tigers and leopards and zebras...oh my!
Put the lid on and let it all steam a bit.
Topped with my 'diet' ravioli in a light tomato sauce. Really good meals when I prepare them this way... lots of veggies, portion control on the main meal items. Seems to be working. Slowly, but working! Not hungry, a good thing!

National Blueberry Popover Day
The popover, a buttery, hollow roll, is the American cousin to Yorkshire pudding. Popovers can be made either sweet or savory. But today is reserved for one flavor in particular, the blueberry popover! Think of National Blueberry Popover Day as a chance to expand your blueberry horizons beyond mere muffins!
Now this recipe sounds easy peezy....

Don't worry too much about Sandra. Her negotiated share of box office is way north of $70 million. Clooney's role was short- but I would argue, it wasn't insignificant. The valor in his choices- heroic.
Maybe we will watch Gravity on Pay per View too. It looked so exciting. She is really a good actress and the best looking one at the Oscars too.
Your "diet" meal reminded me of the diet I was on when the boys were little. I would make a plate with five different veggies and a little square piece of buttered fish. I would buy a box of them frozen. I needed my energy chasing after four little boys so I was hungry a lot. That meal seemed to fill me up and I lost 17 pounds. When I look back now I was probably too thin at that point but I didn't think so at the time! HA!
Good luck girlfriend!!
I enjoyed your rushing creek video. Pretty!

Thanks T! I don't know how you did it with all those boys and eating so little! You never stopped!! xo
