Good 42º pressure dropping low clouds morning.
Last night's sunset was a beauty... 4:51pm
Being a former Marine, Brian has a barrel in his office to
collect Toys For Tots for Christmas.
If you would (please) donate a toy or two and drop them at his
office it would be much appreciated by the children as well as the Marine Corps!
Brian is in the State Farm Office by the Albertson's, McDonalds, The Vine, and
Tacos Locos in the shopping center at Redwood Hwy (199) and Allen Creek Rd. If
that is not convenient, then drop them with me or I can pick them up from you.
Thank you!!!
Historically this date....
1973 –
U.S. President Richard Nixon signs the
Trans-Alaska Pipeline Authorization Act into law,
authorizing the construction of the Alaska
Pipeline.
And
births this date include....
The sun did finally
come out just after 10am and it was a beautiful day....
After All Natural
Pest control was out surveying what needed to be done (re-bait boxes in attic
and under house) was a tiny bit of shopping, a visit to Brian's office, a stop
at the market for coffee creamer, and home to a waiting Bruiser and Dude. Then I
took the golf cart and Dude ran all the way to Dave and PJ's. Brought Dave back
here and he took the riding lawnmower down to his house. He's going to clean it
up (from all the summer mowing) and clean the battery terminals, see about the
belt and fix anything that may be wrong. He'll bring it back and I'll hook it up
to the trickle charger that Ace Dave fixed for me. (Such a great thing for me to
have all these Dave Fix-It Guys!!)
Dinner was
leftovers and a good Hallmark movie (again).
All I know. Happy
Saturday. Brian, hope you and Jen had a wonderful anniversary dinner at the
Jacksonville Inn. Nuff said. Ciao. P.S. It's raining!

Love the colors of your trees up there this time of year!
I can imagine on your spread you have a big problem with pests. We have our share because we are backup up to the wilderness but I wouldn't want to trade it for any where.
When the boys were growing up we would take them to the store and buy toys then drop them in the barrel at 31 Flavors for Toys for Tots. Such a wonderful thing!
Now at some of the "R" elected official's parties we attend we take a toy which is what they "charge" for entrance. Great idea!
Hugs, Trisha
Yes, T, as you know, living near the wilderness bring all sorts of challenges... for us as well as the critters! Good idea re the "R" parties!!! xo
