~ Thanksgiving ~ Peanut Butter Fudge ~

Good 32º, the hummingbird feeders are not frozen   morning and HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Prayers and thoughts for our troops who are away from home and their loved ones. God Bless them all.
Love this picture of a K-9 soldier and his best buddy!
(Dude would do this to me if I let him!)

Yesterday am.... and today am....

Since it's Thanksgiving and a lot of us will be doing cooking ....and just sometimes it's hard to get good help!  Here's what George Bachmeier (LASD ret) sent... LOL:

A caring husband sees that his wife is busy in the kitchen with the turkey, stuffing, gravy, etc. so he offers to help. "My dear, what can I do to help you?" Says the wife, "Take this bag of potatoes, peel half of them, and put them in a big pot to cook."

Yesterday I made the Peanut Butter Fudge ,soooo soooo easy, that I put on my blog on 11-20 (archives on the left). OMG, I was licking the pan!!! Gonna make this again and again. If you haven't made it, and I know this is not the day for new recipes, but YOU HAVE TO MAKE IT! I used the white chocolate morsels but you could use the chocolate ones... next time!

Last night I had a phone call from a former Temple Deputy, Bill Riordan, who worked with Jerry. Super nice guy. We had a great long chat. Been years since I have seen him. I'm looking forward to the Laughlin reunion this next year to catch up with a lot of folks.

All I know. Happy Turkey Day. Nuff said. Ciao.

Greg, so glad you liked the cranberries. If bourbon isn't your thing you can always use Cointreau (sp?) as it's orange flavored. Happy Thanksgiving! xo

T, the fudge is good for 'sharing'!! LOL. Happy Thanksgiving to you and all of your family! xo
