Good 35º foggy morning. Looks like "they" are still predicting
rain this week...
Yesterday the sun came out here..... but not in Grants
Pass!
Jennifer said it was sunny in Medford and Brian said it was in Ashland
(they all went there for the festival) for a short time and then got cloudy and
cold.
Can you believe it tomorrow is December!!! Gadz... this year
sure slipped away fast.
PICTURE of the day....
Here is a story sent by Jon Austin (LASD ret) and it's something everyone
should look at... how a fire can start with a AA or 9 volt battery... tossed in
a junk drawer with other metal pieces in there (keys .. paperclips ..
screwdriver). It can destroy a home. Please share this with everyone you
know.
OK, football Sunday tomorrow... Here's the lineup... Again, should be
interesting...
Historically this date..

And births this date include...
My
friends Olga and Jimmy's son, James, is celebrating his 23nd birthday. HAPPY
BIRTHDAY JAMES!!! You are in good company on this date. Last year you were Mr.
Paramedic... and now this year, after just graduating from the LACO Sheriff's
Academy you are a Deputy! Congratulations!
.... and with your
dad, Sgt. Duran.
I worked with Jimmy at ELA and
became friends with his wife Olga and he and my Kristen were in the same academy
class together. Great family!

Yesterday I ran a
few errands. Turk (my computer go to guy) said I should share the peanut butter
fudge, so I took him some. Turns out it was something his mom used to make. I hope mine was close to being as good as his Mom's! Then
to Brian's to drop off a cd with photos of Thanksgiving for Sandy. She and Paige, Zack, and Zoe are heading
back to CA today. Then to Elmer's to use my $20 coupon I paid $10 for. Got a
Dungeness crab salad to go and a cup of chowder.
Crab, avocado,
bacon, hard-boiled egg, tomatoes, and olives. YUMMMMM!!!!
Came back to RR and
picked up an 11 pound turkey at the market, stuffing mix, celery, mushrooms, and
a few other fixin's for the meal. Will cook the turkey tomorrow. Today I clean
the house. UGH. Oh, and will make cranberry sauce today.
Happy Saturday. All I know. Nuff said. Ciao.

Mark Twain and Winston Churchill born on the same day? If you skip Ben Stiller- that makes this a day of genius born in the English language
Richard Crenna- though successful- IMHO- was much underrated as an actor. I think he was the American Cary Grant.
