WD-40 Tips ~ The Bruise & The Dude ~ Pony & Stuffed Bear ~ 1030 Casserole ~ Noodle Day

Good 37º dark, probably foggy, Sunday morning.

"10-6" ... Busy

WD-40 tips for the week:
Lubricate wheels on dishwasher rack sliding tracks

Quiet squeaky hinges on kitchen and bathroom cabinet doors

Protect sink and shower faucet heads from rust

Remove water spots on shower doors

Remove smudge marks and shine stainless steel appliances

Sooooo................. I go into the bathroom to shower and this guy follows me every time... lays on the rug next to my slippers until I get into the shower and they lays on the bathmat.
When I get out he likes to rub against my wet legs! Sheesh~!

Of course Mr. Dude has to see what is going on too....
This was the only time I thought about taking my camera into the bathroom~! LOL.

Shared by Bill Riordan (LASD ret.) HAPPY BIRTHDAY TODAY BILL!!!

Hours after his birth, Breeze was found stumbling around by a farmer.  The newborn foal was abandoned by his mother.  That's when the farmer took him to Devon-based Mare and Foal Sanctuary where they instantly started caring for him. What happened next is both adorable and heartwarming. Staff put a 4-foot giant Teddy Bear in with Breeze.

The bear's name is Buttons and Breeze quickly warmed up to him
Without his mother, Breeze has found an adorable replacement.
The two have been inseparable and they expect Breeze to be just fine.

Thanks to the rescuers and those who cared enough to take this little cutie in. And thanks, of course, to Button.

Lunch yesterday was a "by guess and by gosh"... I put some cut up Yukon Gold potatoes in the bottom of the crockpot. Added about 1 cup of chicken stock. Topped that with some cut up smoked mozzarella/artichoke/garlic sausage (Costco) and some cream of mushroom soup and shook on some garlic seasoning. Then I added some haricots verts (green beans .. Costco) and some mushrooms. Topped that with baby spinach. Melted a cube of butter and stirred in Panko crumbs and Parmesan cheese. Put that on top. Turned on the slow cooker to LOW for 5 hours.

OMGOOD!!!!!

All I know. Pictures from Jean's birthday dinner tomorrow. Nuff said. Happy Sunday. Ciao.

What a great story about the foal. So darling.
Carole Lombard and Clark Gable's story has alwys been fascinating to me, who knows why.
Your creation, once again, looked delicious. Bet you will be having some leftovers today, right?
Think I will go create something for breakfast.
Have a wonderful day and chat later. xo

I love mushrooms, and those in your pix look super. Were they grown locally? Wish we could get really fresh mushrooms down here, usually they have been picked about a week before they hit the markets. BErnie
