Ice ~ Bruiser~ Back Off! ~ Out of Order ~ Martin's Pups ~ Dude ~ Bologna

Good 36º morning. 84º again yesterday. Daytime temps supposed to cool off by the weekend. Ice on the barn roof and low fog...

Caught Ya! The Bruise attempting to pee in Dude's favorite tree stump sawdust! Oh yes, the look of guilt!!! LOL.

I got the new Sgt. Grit catalog, USMC stuff, and saw this bumper sticker...I'm going to get one!!!
People do love to ride  your bumper up here! This might give them the idea not to!!! ...or maybe they're too stupid to understand!

....from Mike C..."did I read that sign right?"
"TOILET IS OUT OF ORDER. PLEASE USE FLOOR BELOW."

PICTURE of the day....
A teacher for 40 years and wearing the SAME outfit in the annual photos every single year!

I had to laugh, a year ago today I had lobster tail for dinner... had one last night! Ahhh... the old 'history repeating itself' !!

Yesterday Martin was here .. I will take some pictures of all he did. He had his chain saw out and was cutting away at bushes, berry bushes, and trees lining the creek back of the house. He made a HUGE pile. He also trimmed up some rose bushes in the front yard! What a hard worker~ He'll be back Saturday (probably) and load up all the debris and put them in a burn pile. Of course he had his two little Chihuahuas ... one is half mini-doxi.
That one is friendly and lets me pet her but the other just barks and barks....especially at Dude!
She did lick my finger, while taking a breath from barking! But, they are cute!!!

Breakfast was the last of the chicken soup.... (hole in center is for quicker heating in the microwave!)

Dude and I cleaned out a bunch of stuff and took it to the trash by the road...  sadly I put on my big girl panties and tossed out my 39 year old rice cooker... the one that sparked the plug in the kitchen. Made me sad. Jerry and I bought it in Little Tokyo in LA in 1974 and made LOTS of rice in that little thing! Sticky rice for sushi, his favorite!
Dude has his giant licker out because he ran all the way from the house to the road. (3/10ths mile each way) He LOVES to run! I make him sit in the cart down there because I don't want him getting nosey with cars zipping at 45+ mph down the road!

All I know. Nuff said. Happy Thursday. Ciao.

October 24th
National Bologna Day

As I'm sure I have told you, Jerry used to get a chub (horse cock) of boloney and smoke it. OMG that made the BEST sandwiches!!!!
Had some friends (use that term loosely) who used to show up at dinner all the time. She didn't cook! He didn't either! They LOVED to eat, but neither would put forth the effort. All she knew how to cook was fried boloney! UGH.
How about "Bologna Italy" ??? Wouldn't it be fun to visit there....

Interesting dream you had girl!! Re the rice cooker, it's just hard to get rid of stuff you once shared with someone you loved and who is gone. xoxo
