I found this site on FB  ..   http://sugaredspiceshop.com/  and from her ordered some roasted garlic sea salt that wasn't in a grinder. Yes! It arrived today... and OMG it's soooooooooo good!!
If you go to her site and then click on "products" they are sold through esty.com. She has unbelievable good sounding salts... Sriracha, Black Truffle, Porcini  Mushroom, Saffron, Balsamic, Basil, Wasabi, Ginger ... and sugars that will make you drool! I'm going to try some more of the salts....

From Ron W... LOL!
Early one morning, an elderly retired gentleman yelled to his wife ..."Honey....! Come see what I created...!  It's an abstract panorama depicting the five years of the Obama presidency!"

She yelled back, "Flush the damn toilet and come eat your breakfast."   <g>

Dinner was from the sea.... Lobster tail, scallops, sauteéd mushrooms, on top of spinach fettuccine.

I cooked the fettuccine in garlic salted water, drained. In a pan I put olive oil and a pat of butter. The scallops were coated with Panko and garlic sea salt and sauteéd along with the lobster tail and the drained mushrooms. When done I removed the fish and mushrooms and added a bit more oil and stirred and heated up the fettuccine. Everything plated.... and a piece of garlic sourdough bread was put in the pan with the oil and heated on both sides.

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!! Leftovers for tonight! or lunch!

Yesterday I took the boxes for Afghanistan to the Post Office. Those flat rate boxes, with a discount of a couple dollars each because they are going to our military, cost less than half of the regular boxes that were returned. Those two returned boxes cost $95. These three with the same stuff in them cost $44.  One of the guys from our local market was there, Mr. Stoic, and when he found out where the boxes were going he gave me a HUG! He was all mushy about me doing something for our soldiers! :o)   Then in line behind me a gal was over hearing my conversation with the clerk. She said she had done two tours to Afghanistan in the Army and just got out, now going back to school. I HUGGED her!!! She said all the stuff I told her that was in the boxes was what is LOVED by the soldiers....   A good Post Office day!!!

Downtown Rogue River.... took this as I was leaving the parking lot.

All I know.
Happy
 Day!

Nuff said. Ciao.

OH My! Dinner looked awesome!! As I said before I wish I had your talent for cooking creativity!

I was surprised last night when John thoroughly enjoyed my crocked chicken/mushrooms and rice. He went back for seconds. I know you would have added more stuff to the pot but he tells me not to fool with the recipes I make. lol

Many blessings to you for what you do for the military! You do deserve at least a HUGE HUG!!

Your weather sounds just like ours! I am cold right now but will be hot later on. :(

XO Trisha

You are right about Reynolds! I normally buy the mushrooms at Costco, but found these at my local market. xo
