Great pictures of a great loving dog. She was a very lucky girl and had a great life. The Lord is watching over you. He sent Bruiser and Dude to you. Not to replace Maggie or Harley, but to fill the void and they needed you and your love. (just like our Sami) Sue, you are a great (& awesome) lady. I am so happy to know you.. Dee
I just this morning opened my Facebook, and so sorry to hear about Maggie. What a perfect companion she has been, perfect pet, perfect everything......that's what the good ones are. We have been very blessed to have such good doggers in our lives.
I remember when we went to James and Corrie's and you brought baby Maggie with you. What a little sweetheart she was and stayed all her loving life.
She is with some pretty great dogs and cats. I know there is a special heaven for these special loved ones
these pets become such a big part of our lives. when one is lost it always brings back thoughts of all the ones we've lost. it hurts sooo bad.all you can do is love the new ones more..p.j. & d
Sue, We met Maggie during our visit to your home. She was a youngster then and very good natured. It's been fun seeing pix of her over the years, especially those where she wore the holiday garb of your choice. I particularly liked the antlers.
Of course, you'll miss Maggie. We just hope there will come along another companion as sweet and loveable as she was with you.
We still miss our sweet, sweet Solena... Maggie is in good company up there for sure and we grieve with you... She's been such an amazing companion, confidant, psychologist, protector, listener, hugger and friend... she truly gave you unconditional love all these years and my heart breaks for you Sue. Keeping you in my prayers...
I am so sorry to hear about Maggie. I know what a great loss that is for you. Our babies truly are apart of our family. Maggie was a beautiful dog who gave love and was loved. I love the picture tribute of her. You can see how happy she was. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad And heart breaking time. I am sure she is running, playing and riding a tractor with Jerry now.
Oh Sue, I am so sorry! I literally gasped out loud when I read the heading of your blog. So unexpected as you just had her to the vet. I know you are heart broken. I know the feeling but not as intensely as what you are going thru. Just keep thinking of her running and playing with Jerry now. I just told John and he and I both send you giant HUGS!!
Now, go smother Dude and Bruiser with hugs and kisses and let them make you feel better.
Thank you Trish and John! You are right, Jerry and Maggie are happily together again. As for the Bruise and Dude, they are glued to me and showing lots of love. xoxo
I am at a loss for words. This is just so sad. Gary and I are both so sorry. We know how much you loved your girl. Gary said as much as Sue wrote about her, I felt like I knew her too. We are both in tears. We love you so much- Gary, Tammy, Jaco and Sides <3
Thank you Tammy and Gary and boys! They come into our lives for a reason... like your Sideways... Dude came into mine too and is a love. Not taking Maggie's place, but helping with her loss. Same as Bruiser. They seem to know and are sticking close. xoxox
You know I understand your pain as it was only one month ago I said goodbye to Chip. The hurt subsides with time, but the loss is forever. Your photo tribute is beautiful. My favorite is the picture of Maggie as a puppy with Jerry on the cart. God Bless you, Maggie and Jerry.
I was so sorry to hear about Maggie's passing. How well we know the importance of the love and genuine connection that's held and exchanged with our pets (family members!). I'm glad you gave her such a wonderful and blessed life and that you can hold her love and memory deep within your being forever!!
