Good 50º clean sunny morning.
Now with the news of Zimmerman being acquitted the idiots will
cause chaos ....
Pathetic.
On a much more upbeat note.....
I was heading out yesterday to do some shopping and pick up
the clock I had repaired... two momma turkeys and their babies were down by the
gate..
They get all panicky ... the babies went through the fence and
the moms flew over....
The clock shop was closed... a note on the door said, "If you
don't want us dead, we take Saturdays off" . Hmmm... weird..
So I went to Safeway....
Exciting day... came home unloaded groceries and vacuumed.
There was a message on my phone from Rufus and Maxi. They were in the area and
wanted to stop by. We had a chat and a beer. Nice. I cooked chicken thighs for
Maggie, baked a quiche for my dinner (Costco quiche), topped it with sour cream
and Parmesan cheese... good!!
Today would have been my sister Marion's birthday. She is so
missed. She passed away from leukemia in 2004. Here is a picture of her ....
1954 .. with her two BFF's...l-r Georgia, Judy, and Marion... three
lettergirls!
... and Marion holding me...
Today is also a special birthday.. .Del Albright. Del and
Jerry were in the Army National Guard together... he and his Stacie live in
California. His brother Dale, is a doctor here in Grants Pass at Three Rivers.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEL!
Del is... "Off-Road Sports and

Sue,
Which Rufus came for a visit? Was it Rufus Tamayo? He and John were loooong time partners at SEB. They sure raised a lot of hell while there! They consistently had the most felony arrests.
I did not know that Jane Lynch was a singer too. I just loved her role as the psychiatrist on 2-1/2 Men. She was perfect in that role and oh soooo funny with her one liners!!
Talked to Kevin this morning and he asked if I had heard about the riots in Oakland. I hadn't so will check it out. Why doesn't that surprise me?? So awful!!
XOXO Trisha
I know Tamayo, but this was Rufus Horn... retired for 30 years now. Yes, leave it to Oakland!! xo
Hugs on the loss of your sister. Nothing ever plugs up that sort of hole in life. We just learn to live around the memories which could have, should have been.
There are 30,000 cities in the US and very few incidents other than Oakland. Our country has grown up since The People v OJ Simpson.
May God's comfort reach the two families most truly affected by the Sanford, Florida incident.
May we move on to issues where we might be able to make something right.
