Good 83º afternoon. Clear, sunny, breezy.
A lot of tragic 4th of July accidents .... people injured,
killed, boats burned..... Then there are the idiots who think it's ok to shoot
off (illegal and legal) fireworks night and day for days! Irregardless of the
hour, friends have complained about fireworks being set off in their
neighborhoods at 1 and 2 am! Dogs are upset, babies awakened... So not right. No
common sense. Not one iota of care or concern about their neighbors. Adam
Henrys!!
Two things that absolutely chapped my hide about this 4th of
July holiday.... We need to do some huge amount of 'recycling' and quickly!
Brian, Sami, and Tucker came over early Thursday to get some
fish from Dave. He has an overabundance of fish and Brian has a newly
refurbished pond, so Dave said he could have some fish for it. That done I later
went over to Brian and Jen's for a barbecue.. Nice time and lots of good food. I
made a Smilebox... On my way yesterday afternoon there was
lots of smoke over Grants Pass. Today I found out the 80+ acre fire was on the
road adjacent to Galice Road (Stratton Creek Rd and Hog Creek Rd) close to Hog
Creek County Park and just up the road from Indian Mary Park.

YUMM!
Quiet here. No fireworks other than what we hear every night from Disneyland.
Tomorrow will be a better day!
Have a 5th on the 5th!
Love & Hugs!
