Good 54º sprinkling now morning.
Today my plumber, Mike Artoff, is here to change the plumbing
under my sink, put in a new garbage disposal, and put a new filter in my pump
house up in the pasture.
That is the reason my blog is late... had to clean out under
the sink. OMG, what a ton of stuff under there. Will be tossing in the trash for
sure. (I know that makes my BFF and a few others happy!)
This is funny..... Monday morning at the tram stop... everyone
serious...then comes the laughing man!

Yesterday my friend Nancy Perry and I went to Costco. I got the usual, dog
treats and more dog treats..... Also they had the Asian Roasted Chicken
Wraps.... OMGOOD!!! Got home and dove into one right away!
Also got artichokes... Ocean Mist are the BEST... California grown, family
owned farm, Globes. I posted this picture on Ocean Mist FB page and they thanked
me...
After we shopped at Costco we headed to Trader Joe's. I got some Two Buck
Chuck (here in Oregon it's $2.49), some Boatswain "chocolate beer" ....
(will let you know on that one!) and some Mission
Hefeweizen....
(quote from their website,
"Our award winning Bavarian-Style Hefeweizen is unlike the cloying lemon-laden
beers that flood the market under the same name. Ours is a classic, a pious ode
to the summer style, replete with hints of banana, clove and pear. It’s all in
all refreshing, and no fruit was added-nor needed. Instead the complex character
of the beer is produced through mastery, detail and authentic Bavarian
yeasts.") Sounded interesting.
Also, found some Aioli Garlic Mustard and some
Orange Muscat Champagne Vinegar. YUMMMM... AND they had black refried beans!!!
with jalapeños!!! And picked up some 'Cuban Style Black Beans'. Can't wait to
try the refried black!
Ok, so fun shopping done we headed to 38 Central for a glass of
......
David Graham, owner, always a pleasure to see him.
The sky/clouds were pretty awesome on the way home yesterday
afternoon....
And... last night at 8:30pm....
Today is a special person's birthday... Laura Vincent Virant... former
Temple City neighbor, friend of Kristen's. HAPPY BIRTHDAY LAURA! (with one of
her prize winning Wheatens)
As for history and births this date... not a lot went on.. you can go to
the archives for that.....
New garbage disposal is in place! Yes! Thanks Mike. New plumbing under the
sink, new filter in the pump house, and he fixed the toilet seat that I have not
been able to! Mike my hero!! When Mike isn't plumbing he's fishing!

When you said sprinkles I thought "Oh boy cookies or cupcakes!" Tells you where my mind is at. And my waist. The older we get the waist can be a terrible thing to mind. But we must.
Great looking dog. Looks like they spend as much on its hair as I do mine):-

I can't believe no one mentioned that video! I was cracking up too with the rest of them! What a HOOT that was! That guy had a fabulous laugh. Just proves when you smile or laugh the whole world smiles or laughes with you. Wonderful video!
Good for you to get all those nasty plumbing problems fixed. Oh boy do I know about that!!
When we were in Panama (I think it was) our tour took us to a hotel for a buffet lunch, They had refried black beans that LOOKED yucky! John hates black beans but he was hungry and ate them. OMG they were fabulous and he loved them! I need to fix them here at home!
It's nearly midnight but HAD to comment!
