Speaking of Marines... I was at Wal-Mart the other day and a couple of
Marines (one quite elderly and one 40-ish) were collecting donations for local
wounded military. I gave them some $ and they said my donation qualifies for a
free baseball cap of my choice.... I chose this one:
I thought this one soooooooo cool. Jerry would have loved it, giving it to
my Brian.
My donation also qualified for 3 little military ducks... I chose

National Quiche Lorraine Day
9" single pie crust
12 slices bacon, cooked, drained, chopped (or as much or little as you
want!)
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
4 eggs beaten
2 cups light cream (or heavy if you want)
1/4 t. white sugar
1/8 t. cayenne pepper
salt and black pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 425°.
Sprinkle cooked chopped bacon,
cheese and onion into pastry shell.
In a medium bowl, whisk together
eggs, cream, salt, sugar and cayenne pepper. Pour mixture into pastry
shell.
Bake 15 minutes in the preheated
oven. Reduce heat to 300°, and bake an additional 30 minutes, or until a knife
inserted 1 inch from edge comes out clean. Allow quiche to sit 10 minutes before
cutting into wedges.

Cher has "held up" over the years- but her mom is the real beauty in the family.
Love the Marine hat and I am sure Brian will be delighted with it! The ducks are adorable!
Cher was such a beauty UNTIL she had so many plastic surgeries and now she's just plain weird looking! L is right. Her mom is the beauty in that family.
