Good 40º foggy/cloudy morning. Rain on it's way... nothing on the radar
yet, but sure is activity via satellite...
Sunset last night was a beauty....
Last nights game was AWESOME!!! My Pats wiped up the Texans in Foxborough
42-14! WHOOT WHOOT WHOOT!!!
GO TOMMY!!!!!
After 'The Bruise' returned from his journey yesterday he did spend some
quality time in his new bed. I went to Petco and got him a real soft fluffy warm
winter bed... and he likes it!
Yesterday I spent, finally, getting boxes of Christmas stuff ready to send
off via UPS to various parts of the country. Bruiser came in and "helped" me
wrap.... he made me laugh, he's so funny and interested in EVERYTHING!
I also finished up a lot of Christmas cards. All go in the mail today. A
quick run into GP for a couple of things, back home to finish up, then UPS here
I come.
Maggie went to the mailbox and took trash out riding in the golf cart. We
say Bruiser on the 'hunt' for something. As soon as he saw us he came
running....
Of course last night I watched the game... and dinner was one of my
'concoctions' ... a little of this and a little of that. I had just cooked a
crockpot full of boneless chicken thighs for Maggie and had one left from the
previous batch, so cut that up, added in some cooked Mexican flavored rice,
chopped asparagus, couple of tomatoes, reconstituted dried mushrooms, and
artichoke hearts.... in olive oil in the big pan...
As part of a birthday gift Jeannie gave me some of this awesome sea salt
mix from Italy that contains sea salt, rosemary, sage, black pepper,
& garlic. Added some of that!
Then I stirred in some smokehouse bacon dip........ and sprinkled on a
handful of grated cheese (yellow and white)
So DARNED GOOD!! The leftovers are for breakfast with an egg!

Oh my! Love seeing Bruiser in new snuggy bed! How cute is that! What I like best is him sitting on your table so sweet and friendly.
Has he ever ridden in the golf cart?
Your meal looked awesome! You are amazing when inventing dishes!!
Happy running around getting your Christmas stuff done!

Bruiser is a total character! No, he's been on the golf cart, used to eat his meals in the bed in back, but when it's running, he's nervous. Maybe, one day. There is a campground up north on the coast where Jen and Brian went and the manager has a cat that rides on his golfcart! xo
you are spoiling that cat !! ;)ha ha you go girl. he is precious.
Those Patriots did kick butt! I was thinking about you...

Go patriots!!!! Interesting meal there.. It looks so flavorful!
Nice to hear "Go Patriots" from someone other than me!! Although, my friend Olga, a Jet's fan, has a son who is a Pat's fan! Yeah!! One pot, clean out the fridge meals are my favorite! xo
