Good 40º raining pouring windy morning.
I got on the scale with Bruiser yesterday. He weighs 16 pounds!! He is
solid as a rock too! Average weight for cats is 7-11 pounds. He likes to nap on
the carpet between the dining room and the kitchen where there is a little
step...
Hey.... what was that flash???
It's ok Bruiser, go back to sleep! He took off yesterday afternoon but came
back sometime in the night. Slept on the porch, as he was dry this morning. Glad
he chooses to stay close! ... Alas, until the next time!
Here is Jake after his ear operation... he's doing well, sleeping a lot, on
pain meds, and not liking the "cone of silence".
Luckily for Erika and Spence, the owner of the dog and the father who was
walking the one who attacked Jake are paying for the vet bill! Nice. Apparently
the man walking the dog really likes Jake.
I was playing around with merging photos again, as my friend Dale said he
has a printer that will print panoramas and wanted me to send him on. I took
these 4 photos .....
and 'stitched' them together into this....
Historically this date....
1946 – The popular Christmas film

Life is first released in New York City.
..... horrible. Can't imagine what they went through!
1989 – United
States invasion of Panama: The United States sends troops
into Panama to overthrow government of
Manuel Noriega. This is
also the first combat use of purpose-designed stealth aircraft.

Palestinian militant Zein Isa and his wife Maria to
death for the honor killing of their
daughter Palestina.
2007 – Elizabeth II becomes the
oldest monarch of the United Kingdom, surpassing Queen Victoria, who lived
for 81 years, 7 months and 29 days.
And births this date include...
....and a bunch of other people, of whom I do not know!
Last night was the Law Enforcement/Fire Christmas dinner at the Grants Pass
Golf Club. Chicken Marsala and Prime Rib, rice, pasta salad, green salad, rolls,
and a ton of desserts. All GOOD!
Our gang... L-R Bill Jeannie Patterson, Rufus Maxie Horn, Dee Dale Yellin,
Kathy Tom Corso, me....
LAPD/Burbank PD ret Dennie Offerman and Bea
... and here we have Walter Smith (LAPD..ret over 40 years!) his friend
Carolyn (former LASD Radio Dispatcher) and Greg Kleeman (LAPD and friend with
Wilsonite Steve Geon)
Rufus was soooooooooooo sweet and brought me a beautiful little wine glass
(he even filled it with wine!) with the USMC emblem on it from the 209th
Birthday Ball and Seal Beach Barracks emblem on the other side! Jerry was
stationed at Seal Beach at one time. This year was the 237th Birthday of the
USMC... that makes this wine glass 28 years old! How cool is that!~
All I know. Nuff said. Clean the house day. UGH.

Sue,
I would think with today's technology they could solve that Walker murder. The perp is probably dead by now but it should be solved. What a horrific case!
You look so purdy in your red! Very Christmassy. Looks like you had a great time and love your wine glass. What a nice gift for you.
Oh I do love seeing Bruiser all snug inside your house. 16 pounds!! YIKES That's a big healthy guy! My grand baby doesn't weight that much! :)
Hugs, Trisha
Thanks T!! As for the walker murder, click on the "murder the walker family" that is in blue and it will tell you about the recent findings. Murders were executed some time ago for another murder. xo
I hope you frame your picture stitching---so cool ! Nice picture of LE/F group and how nice to receive a
USMC wine glass & WINE from your friend----
