Good 45º cloudy and icky morning. No rain right now, but
yesterday we got it on and off and ended with another 1/4".
Do you realize 12-25 is just a breath away?????
Playing with Photoshop... (giggle)
Yesterday the sky in the afternoon was awesome...
and the deer were out....
.... and Mr. Bruiser was in the upper pasture looking for
game...
.... and the strange thing about this cat, if I had called him he would have come running! He seems so happy to have "people" that if I see him and call to him he is right there!!! He just loves to be loved!
Later on in the early evening he assumed the position on Maggie's "princess bed" while Maggie slept on the deck..
(P.S. That is Halloween tape on the screen door!).... and speaking of cats .. I was just eating a mini Alessi garlic breadstick
and Harley wanted some. This cat eats anything!! So he took three good sized bites off the end of the breadstick. I LOVE my cats. They are weird, like me!!!! LOL
Historically this date....
1962 – Cuban missile
crisis:
Adlai
Stevenson shows
photos at the UN proving Soviet missiles are installed in Cuba.
2004 – Fidel
Castro,
Cuba's President, announces that
transactions using the American
Dollar will be
banned
.... one of the
worst things about Cuba being an Adam Henry is that the cigar smokers don't get
to savor those awesome Cuban stogies!
We used to go to
Rau's down on Beverly near Vermont to get Jerry's cigars. Hand rolled with Cuban
tobacco by Cuban ladies! And they had the wildest coffee they served us. It was
only about a shot glass full, but it kept you pumped up the rest of the day!
POTENT.
And births this
date include....
Topper!
with Mickey
Rooney^
Hear me roar,
baby!
Dinner
last night was chicken/habañero sausage, tomatoes,
red bell
pepper, olives, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, garlic & basil pasta, Alfredo
sauce.
Saute
the sliced sausage, cook the pasta, mix all together....
AWESOME!!!
All I
know. Nuff said. Happy Thursday. Ciao.

Leo G. Carroll - "Host to Said Ghosts!!" Love loved that show!
OMG I just love Bruiser and I'm not even a cat person! So sweet and I love the story of how you were so gentle, patient and loving with him and now he is your bud! I am amazed at Maggie for being such a lovely hostess and allowing him to have his bed while he sleeps on the floor! :):)Amazing!
You din din looked amazing! I am sure you will have enough leftovers for the week! :)
Hugs!

You are right T, leftovers for a while!! Yes, Bruiseris a character and a love. Maggie puts up with him, because she respects cats....and they have claws!!! xo
Sue,
I think I am in love with Bruiser because he looks almost exactly like Eric's Kitty who died just before he moved down here. She lived a good long life.
I can tell Eric misses her and gets sad when we talk about her.
She is the only cat I have ever loved.
Plus Bruiser is an orphan and you have sort of adopted him. Sweet.
XO Trisha
No matter what pet you have you love them and when they die your heart is broken. I'm sorry for Eric. He will get another cat one day. It will help heal the hurt. xo
I can't wait to try the pasta. I'm telling you girlfriend you need to post some of these recipes on Pinterest!
I'll never get tired of your view of the mountain. It is breattaking- I can't imagine looking out at that each day. You are blessed and so are your animals. Love - Tammy
I took a look at Pinterest, but it looks like more work. I think I'll stick to my blog .... Thanks tho! xo
