Good 48º looks cloudy out there but probably smoke morning.
Today is an old old friend's birthday. Not to say she's OLD, it is just
that we have known each other since Kindergarten. Um, that would be over 60
years! Gulp. HAPPY BIRTHDAY LINDA WATTERLOND TERROR!
Here we are as Sierra Park (Sewer Pipe!) Safety Monitors...
(Good grief, we even dressed alike!)
.... and today... still that pretty little blonde!
Historically this date.....
..............not so different from the Dem Nat Convention last
night!!!!
.... After Jerry and I got married I wanted to have a boy and name him
'Sam' after Sam Houston because Jerry was a Texan. Didn't get to do that, but
now we have 'Samantha'...granddaughter...we call her 'Sami'. Close enough!!
1945 – Iva Toguri
D'Aquino, a Japanese-American
suspected of being wartime radio propagandist Tokyo Rose, is arrested in Yokohama.
... really interesting read.
1960 – The boxer Muhammad Ali (then Cassius
Clay) is awarded the gold medal for his first place in the light
heavyweight boxing competition at the Olympic Games in Rome.
1972 – Munich Massacre: A Palestinian
terrorist group called "Black September"
attack and take hostage 11 Israel athletes at the Munich Olympic
Games. 2 die in the attack and 9 die the following day.
And births this date include.....
Whoot whoot whoot!!!
This is the funniest thing... a peeping-tom cat .....

pain. Feel better soon Timmy!!!) all met at the VFW for Taco Tuesday and to
celebrate my birthday. Debbie made a cake (and had a major problem with the
writing 'glitter' frosting!). It was carrot cake and SOOOOOO good! We all had a

All I know. DirecTV guy here early (hopefully) and then Law
Enforcement/Fire luncheon, then pick up Maggie from the vets. Her surgery went
well. The vet, Dr. Ron, called me at 7pm last night to fill me in. She was
sleeping comfortably. I miss her SOOOOOOOOOOOO much! Will be happy happy to have
my baby girl home again. Ciao.
