Good 44º morning. Sunday I cleaned off the back patio. Decided to get rid of the Ab-Lounger and an electric blower I never use. So, took them to the road and put them on the curb... ..... an hour or so later I decided to take a look and see if it was still there.... Not. Frank and Cindy's trash can was there instead. Cool. I'm happy, got rid of them, someone else is happy they have them now! Maggie always likes riding in the golf cart... I put up the Breidenthal sign... and one of my neighbors must have put up the other sign (Yes!!!) Tim was busy scraping the railings yesterday and Bruiser only wanted tummy scratchings... Football standings...before last night's Seattle/Green Bay fiasco...... (Seattle 14-Green Bay 12 ... more bad ump calls??? Boy, my Patriot's coach was certainly upset with the umps in the Pats/Raven's game Sunday!) Out of 3 games played: Arizona won 3 Atlanta won 3 Houston won 3 The following teams won 2 lost 1: NY Jets, Buffalo, Baltimore, Cincinnati, San Diego, Dallas, NY Giants, Philadelphia, Chicago, Minnesota, and San Francisco. Teams who won 1 lost 2: New England :o(, Miami, Pittsburgh, Jacksonville, Indianapolis, Tennessee, Oakland, Denver, Kansas City, Washington, Green Bay, Detroit, Tampa Bay, Carolina, Seattle, and St. Louis. The bottom of the barrel with no wins and 3 losses: Cleveland and New Orleans Today is my grandmother's birthday. She was born Isabelle Dunbar in Glasgow Scotland in 1872. She married my grandfather, John Mills, born in Edinburgh Scotland. They each came to the United States and met in New Mexico! She was a sweet lady and a great baker!   Today is also the wedding anniversary of Grace and Jack Elliott (ret LASD both). HAPPY ANNIVERSARY KIDS! (me too!) 1951 – Mark Hamill, American actor .... boy, you tend to remember him in Star Wars ..so young! 1952 – Christopher Reeve, American actor (d. 2004) 1961 – Heather Locklear, American actress and model ... graduated from Newberry Park High in Thousand Oaks and went to UCLA 1969 – Catherine Zeta-Jones, Welsh actress .....she shares the same birthday as her husband, Michael Douglas! 1973 – Bridgette Wilson, American actress ....wow, born in Gold Beach Or! (LOL, people are really born in Gold Beach???) Married to Pete Sampras, tennis player.   A fire near Galice, in Josephine County has caused a lot of smoke up our way.... taken yesterday evening...
