Good 46º burrrrrrr morning.

Will have one today with fresh pineapple and orange.

I was asked why I use soy milk in my smoothies ... (for you Trish!)
Soy milk is a popular dairy alternative. Some people opt to drink soy milk
because they are lactose intolerant or lactose sensitive or for health reasons,
such as wanting to reduce cholesterol intake. In large part due to the milk
industry's ad campaigns about how healthy milk is, many people wrongly assume
that all milk is healthy. However, only low-fat and fat-free milk are accepted
as 'healthy' by the medical community.
Unlike cow's milk, soy milk is naturally low in fat. Regular-fat soy milk contains slightly more fat per cup than 2% milk, but it is naturally free from saturated fat.
Because it is made from plant material instead of an animal byproduct, soy milk contains no cholesterol. Dairy milk contains about 20 milligrams of cholesterol per cup. An adult's recommended daily allowance of cholesterol is 300 milligrams.
Soy milk is also high in protein. One cup of soy milk contains about 7 to 10 grams of protein. This is similar to cow's milk, which contains eight grams of protein per cup. Soy milk protein is a complete protein and is highly digestible

Yesterday I took several bags of "stuff" to the Elks for their Locks for
Love silent auction.
Then I went to Brian and Jen's. Jen was teaching Tucker some cooking skills
and he was doing awesome...(in his Star Wars apron!)

Sami and I took a walk out back behind their property were the blackberries
grow and we picked and ate some...
Of course Atlas followed along...
That tail (the blur)never stops!! LOL. Brian was busy fixing his own
lunch...
Sami thought it was hilarious my friends Dee and Dale Yellin have named
their dog Sami!
She sat on my lap and showed me her mini computer...
I know her shirt looks like it's an ad for I Ate the Farm, but it does say
State Farm!
On the way home a stop at the market and then home. TV box in the living room won't turn on. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. It was just replaced a short time ago. Now I have to call DirecTV again...and wait on hold for an hour! GRRRRRRRRRRR again!

western Ukraine: At 2.30 am the German Schutzpolizei starts
driving Jews out of their houses, divides
them into groups of 120, packs them in freight cars and deports 2000 to Belzec death
camp. 500 of the sick and children are murdered on the spot
...............so horrible and disgusting. Too bad a Jewish

Hitler!
