Where The Heck Is Matt? ~ Broken Pipe ~ Sami/Atlas ~ Grilled Shrimp

Good 59º sunny morning. Got to 92º yesterday. HOT! Whine whine....

I got this email from my friends, Tally & Spencer Huntoon (LA Co Fire, ret) and the email said, " this will make you smile". It did! This funny cute happy guy, Matt Harding, goes around the world and dances with people. And if this video isn't enough, then click below on 'similar videos" below for more Matt!

What are these humans doing? Dancing. Many humans on Earth exhibit periods of happiness, and one method of displaying happiness is dancing. Happiness and dancing transcend political boundaries and occur in practically every human society. Above, Matt Harding traveled through many nations on Earth, planned on dancing, and filmed the result. The above video, the latest in a series of similar videos, is perhaps a dramatic example that humans from all over planet Earth feel a common bond as part of a single species. Happiness is frequently contagious -- few people are able to watch the above video without smiling.

Yesterday was two more blood tests and a back x-ray. Results back on potassium levels... they are good. Yeah. X-ray tech was a Brian. Nice guy.
The Rogue Valley Hospital, even though I've been there before (for Jerry's surgeries and my back surgery) is such a gorgeous place and EVERYONE is sooooo nice!

I got home and mowed the front grass. Then Mike Artoff, Artoff Plumbing

got here. He dug up where the water was coming to the surface in the garden and low and behold a broken pipe!

So Mike put in a new piece and a valve ....

After he turned the water back on, with the valve closed, he wanted me to run the kitchen water. Nope. No water. He turned on the valve, and voilá ...water! Interesting. Good thing he didn't listen to me (dud) when I said "cap it". LOL. Now there is lots more water pressure! Yeah!

Thanks Mike. Good job as always!

Atlas is here until Saturday while his family is in Sun River, south of Bend Oregon. Brian has a State Farm meeting up there and the kids will go to the water park. Jen and Sami brought Atlas over last evening. I had bought olives at Costco and didn't realize I already had plenty so gave them to the olive lover, Sami! She and Tucker (and I'm sure Brian too!) like to put them on their fingers and eat them that way.

Atlas kept an eye on Baby....

Dinner was some skewered shrimp, drizzled with lemon flavored olive oil, and grilled on the Foreman grill. Along with the shrimp I had corn liberally slathered with artichoke/jalapeño  spread and bacon salt.

All I know. Nuff said. Happy Thursday. Ciao.
