Good 53º sunny clear morning. Clouds supposedly moving in later....
supposed to be 95º (UGH) today with chance of rain tonight and through til

OMG..........it's JUNE! Whoppen???? Half the year is gone. I am feeling
sooooooooooo old. Don't want another birthday.
GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA........................ Let's see, I will be
celebrating my 25th birthday (NOT until this fall!!!) with 42 years of
experience! Yeah, that works.
Yesterday afternoon Maggie and I went to the mailbox in the golf cart and
saw Mrs. Doe bolt from the tractor shed....
Wheeeeeee....................
And look.... I interrupted Harley's nap.... tried to sneak up on him... but
he caught me!

Historically this date...
1779 – Benedict Arnold, a general in the Continental Army during
the American
Revolutionary War, is court-martialed for malfeasance.
2009 – General Motors files
for Chapter
11 bankruptcy. It is the fourth
largest United States bankruptcy in history.
2011 – A rare
tornado outbreak occurs in New England; a strong EF3
tornado strikes Springfield,
Massachusetts during the
event, killing four people.
And births this date include...
Dinner... a ginormas salad... mozzarella balls, grape tomatoes, avocados,
asparagus, leftover coleslaw, fingerling potatoes, spinach, mini haricots vert
(green beans), and bacon....
Cut asparagus into 1" pieces, discarding the hard ends, and stir fry in
olive oil. Set aside and cool. Put the potatoes in a microwave safe dish and
cover with water. Cook on high 12 minutes. Cover with cold water and ice. Dry.
Cut into bite sized pieces. Pre cooked bacon, 1-2 min in the microwave, blot off
fat, cut into bite size pieces. Mix all together. My favorite dressing is Best
Foods Mayonnaise and lemon juice. I also whisked in some lemon infused olive oil
(made with heated olive oil and cold pressed lemon).... AWESOME!
All I know. Nuff said. TGIF. Ciao.
