Good 45º morning. Sunny. Going to be warm. Lots of outside work to do.
UGH.
Yesterday was fun. I went to Tucker's baseball game. The kids are playing
phenomenal. Tucker (bragging Bobo) can hit and run and catch with the best of
them, and better than most adults! Good job Tucker!!!
... and Sami was being her charming self...
The one girl on Tucker's team, Emily, and her dad...
In the second half of the inning, Emily was in the center of the diamond behind the coach who was pitching ..
the boy at the plate hit a HARD ball straight at Emily. She caught it! She
immediately turned and threw it to second base. Then she turned and was shaking
her hand and saying, probably, "OW!" Her little hand stung! So cute. For the one
on the team who didn't want to be the catcher for the first inning, was the one
who caught a really hard hit ball! Go Em!!!
After the game I went to Bill and Jeannie's for a glass of wine... and to
enjoy their view and watch Chaka swim in her pool!!

I told you yesterday that Mr. Raccoon had eaten the food in the golf cart I
put out for "Casper" and was beginning to worry something happened to the
cat.... Harley came out and "inspected" the golf cart for 'other animal
smells....'
I put more food in the bed of the cart and we came in... and lo and behold
here comes Casper! Yeah! He/she ate and then was looking for ground
squirrels....
