Good 40º clear sunny morning.

Alex was here yesterday and reduced the pile of logs to nothing... split and stacked all the wood....

Good job Alex! 2 hours! Wow.

 

Kristen is so loved by her students.. she is the office manager at Coolidge Grammar School, in N. San Gabriel .. so during 'Teacher Appreciation Week" her little pals filled her desk with love...

 

Here is a 'coming home' video of a Marine father watching his 6 year old son walk for the first time. The boy has cerebral palsy .... (sent by Ron Wisberger, who also apparently, put a dent in his Kleenex box too!)

Last night was the Marine Corps League monthly dinner/meeting at the VFW.

 

We had PRIME RIB! Mmmmm mmmm good! I had two, count them, two dirty martinis! (Thanks Loren for one of them!!!)  Ahhhhhhh.... what a treat to sit and relax after working hard yesterday AND have someone cook a marvalous dinner and clean up! Heaven. Always nice to see everyone. My friend Adria Barton and I sat and gabbed a bunch! Brought home leftovers for Maggie!
