Good 37º morning, clear and sunny. Temp rising. Yesterday stayed in the
60º's. Today will be warmer. Last night's full 'monstermoon' was awesome. I
found these taken of it, one in Athens and one over San Francisco....
As yesterday was Cinco de Mayo, my daughter told me I forgot Star Wars Day
on the 4th~ "May the forth be with you" ... LOL. Ok, Tootie, I'll remember it
next year!
Yesterday Jason was here weed-eating along the creek and Joe came over and
started the brush-hogging. He was at it 6½ hours. Will finish up Mon or
Tues.
Dave was over and got the wood splitter working. It needed some gasoline,
and WD 40 to loosen the pull cord. Dave got it running great in just a few
min...

Please explain brush hogging. It doesn't appear to be mowing the grass so just what does it do?
Boy , it seems that the work never ends around there. With such a large spread I guess there's always something.

T, a brush hog is a round flat mower that is pulled behind a tractor and it does just that... mows the grasses down.
No, I don't split wood. Lifting those logs would be a killer for my back. Alex, a friend of my DirecTV guy is going to split the wood for me. Paying him....
