March 21st is the common date of the March equinox (although astronomically the equinox is more likely to fall on March 20 in all but the most easterly longitudes). In astrology, the day of the equinox is the first full day of the sign of Aries. It is also the traditional first day of the astrological year.
A FaceBook friend, Mary Garcia Quezada, Wilson grad .. but she is very very young... anyway, she posted this on her page the other day and I laughed!

Yesterday I finally opened this bottle of wine I purchased at Harry and David's. It's called Chocovine.
It was like drinking a liquid chocolate bar with a kick of alcohol. OH MY RICH! Just a little shot of that would suffice for dessert! Besides 5 oz is 400 calories! Yikes.
Also yesterday the garbanzo beans I ordered and the tahini showed up. The beans are dried so I soaked them overnight and will cook them today and make hummus.
They come from Palouse, Wa which is way on the eastern edge of Washington, south of Spokane and almost in Idaho. Palouse is a pretty area, mostly farming, and a population in the last census of 998.
Anyway, I'm excited about making this hummus from the dried chick peas. Going to make it with Siracha...
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Hump Day. Ciao.
