Good 34º very foggy morning. Lots or rain all day yesterday. My neighbor Frank braved the elements and on a tractor smoothed out the gravel he had put on our road. We got just over 1/2" (.58") Precipitation supposed to taper off until tomorrow.
Let the Chinese New Year of the Dragon begin!!
In regards to yesterday's football games....
PATRIOTS WIN!
Then I must address Steven Tyler (of old Arrowsmith fame) who sang the National Anthem. Well, that was NOT singing!
It will be renamed The Star Mangled Banner!
When the camera panned to Tom Brady, hand over heart, he had that look of disgust, same thoughts going though my mind! WHO PICKS THESE IDIOTS??????
Ok, so I have to say the game was the most exhausting one I have taken part in!!! I was screaming and yelling and praying and prancing.... OMG I was tired when my Patriots finally won it at 23-20 over the Ravens! AND that last kick for a field goal made by the Ravens.... I made it go to the side. Really! It was me. I was pointing and pointing to the side and screaming! LOL>
This whole last season of the Patriots was dedicated to team owner Mr. Robert Kraft's late wife, Myra, who died from cancer. He was rarely ever seen without her at his side.
The San Francisco 49ers and the NY Giants game was another nail biter. Close! OMG. Yes, back and forth to an overtime field goal by the Giants to win 20-17. Sorry Jeannie! :o(

Boo Hoo for the 49ers. Both were great games though! Glad your Patriots won. Now we won't have to be on opposite sides. Wheeeeeeeeeee.

Those were both great games- but Steven Tyler doing the Star Mangled Banner? Glad I missed that moment.
Happy New Year!
Sue,
I also missed the Star Mangled Banner by Tyler! I hadn'yet heard what time the game started so by the time I read it on FB it had started.
I was happy about the outcome of the game but I couldn't help but feel so sorry for the little #7 kicker of the Ravens. That guy will never forget that moment! I am such a softie that I always feel sorry for the losers even if the team I am rooting for wins! Good game! The other one was a nail biter too!
XO Trisha
Well, T, you didn't miss much!! LOL. As for Billy Cundiff, yes I felt sorry for him too. Imagine his parent's hearts dropping! Wow. But, he will survive.
