Good grief, it's a whopping 36º. First time is quite a spell Maggie's water isn't frozen and neither is the hummingbird feeder! YEAH.
It did rain yesterday. Thanks to me and my $8 car wash on Friday! Should have done that last month! Thought for sure we were going to have snow, the rain started about 9am and it was still 28º. Ya'll can thank me for the precip ... guess I'll wash my truck again soon so we will get some more!

Today is the day to recharge.......
Yesterday was a wonderful day. Maggie and I left here at 7:30 to be at Brian and Jen's by 8. The sun was just coming out and the sky was unbelievable...
Tucker and Sami had a blast opening presents... all the things they wanted....
Even Atlas got a chew bone wrapped up from Santa. He had Uncle Jimmy help him open it...
... and Grandma Jean, brave soul that she is, got down on the floor with Sami and helped her put together a Hello Kitty Lego house....
Jen made a wonderful breakfast of a layered bread/egg/cheese casserole and blueberry french toast casserole...both soooooooooooooo good! She had a plate of kiwi, fresh pineapple, and pomegranates!
Brian and Jen have a pond in the backyard filled with Koi. Atlas uses it as his water 'bowl'. I took Maggie's water dish along and put it outside. I saw her watch Atlas, with rapt attention, drinking from the pond and then glancing at her bowl of water. Then she ventured to the pond and drank....
while Atlas drank from her bowl! So funny.
A great day, but missed like mad, Kristen Alex and Jack!
Came home, watched Lassie and a few other movies. Made a cornbread casserole and had some of my Honeybaked ham. Good!
Corn casserole... Recipe to follow tomorrow.....
Last night the sunset was gloomy and dark....
This morning it's foggy...
And today is a very special birthday, my new daughter-in-law Marie's birthday!
