11-11-11 ~ Veteran's Day ~ Crab & Pasta

Stand by, because today is 11-11-11 and there will be 11:11 (or 1111 hours) ... wonder if planets will collide or will aliens come from outer space to gather us up or .....???

11/11/11 (a.k.a. 11-11-11); Friday, November 11, 2011: Singularity Summary

Most predictions and opinions concerning 11/11/11 are based on or rooted in its mathematical uniqueness as a number.
11*11*11: There are three possible scenarios:
1. Something good happens— There is absolutely no scientific basis for this belief. There are no known logical premises for this belief. The belief that something good will happen is based solely on spiritualism, faith, and/or innate optimism. This belief is not necessarily a bad thing; we don’t know everything; the probability is not zero.
2. Nothing happens— This is the most likely scenario. Just because an unusual date number sequence occurs doesn’t mean that something extraordinary will happen. Usually it’s a non-event.
3. Something bad happens— There is absolutely no scientific basis for this belief. There are no known logical premises for this belief. The belief that something bad will happen is based solely on pessimism of reality. This belief is not necessarily false; after all, things are generally/usually a mess. The probability is not zero.

So..... the next time the dates line up will be next December 12th and then not again until 3001 ! Yikes, guess we'd best enjoy this go round, we won't be here for the next!

Good 28º foggy morning.

Thank you to all of you who served in our country's military.

Although we don't always say it, you are appreciated and loved for your service! ♥ God Bless you for that.♥

Yesterday was JCRW lunch. Our speaker was Brad Dacus Esq. President of the Pacific Justice Institute.

Really interesting and fun.

Lunch was Thanksgiving fare... green bean casserole, stuffing, sweet potatoes with mini marshmallows, and turkey and gravy. Pumpkin pie for dessert. Oink!

Came home and got some chores done and then tackled the rest of the crab legs...... cracked the legs, took out the meat. Cooked some pasta. Put the crab in a hot pan with olive oil, added cut grape tomatoes, roasted red peppers, and spinach. Reduced the spinach and then added the pasta and Philly Cooking Sauce. AWESOME!

Something good happened 16 years ago today. Our Lynda married Louie. He is a great husband and so loving to his family and so respectful to us. Yes we are blessed to have Louie in our family. Abby (12) and Jason (9) made breakfast for them this morning. They made tortillas and eggs. Ellie(3) was still asleep but they even set out the vitamins for each of them. That was quite a surprise for them. Jason doesn't care for the tortillas and eggs so he made himself french toast..........Also I would like some of the crab concoctions you make up. Looks so so good. Marie

Sue,

What a great tribute to the veterans.
Your meeting sounded wonderful. Amazing that Brad is in Oregon speaking and you had him at yours. Judy and I are very familiar with him. Judy had him at her CRA mtg then I had him at ours. He has an amazing personal story of tradegy then a miraculous recovery. You can see hints of it on his face after being reconstructed.
Dinner looked YUMMY!!

Hugs, Trisha

Thanks, T! Brad didn't talk about personal stuff. He was hilarious though and interesting. He left here and headed to Shasta. A busy guy!
