Good 58º morning. Boy, yesterday was nice. Breezy and in the 70ºs. No AC, all the doors and windows open.
I started in on the tomatoes. After weighing them I discovered I have 40 pounds of tomatoes! That's a lot. Normally I go to 7 Oaks for tomatoes and get a lug ... or two. Each lug is about 14 pounds. So this has me busy. My house smells like tomato sauce!
First thing yesterday I went into town
for celery, onion, garlic, and mushrooms.
I also stopped in at Dr. Mike's
(the other vet in town) and showed them the picture of the
three dogs who had visited here the other day to see if
they knew the owners. Nope. Then to the PD...
to ask about this sign...
In the parking lot of the Double R, where we had Dave's Taco Tuesday party, there are only 3 parking spaces that do not have a sign like this ... for the dental place, the screen/window store, and the laundromat. If you are going to the Double R there is no place to park except on the street. I asked the Chief if this was enforced. He said it's private property and the owners of the businesses have the right to have your car towed and put into storage (Oregon section 98.810) if they want to. Apparently it doesn't happen, often. Seems to me there are 4 or 5 spaces for the laundromat, 6 or 7 for the screen/window shop, and 6 or 7 for the dental place. Rather irritating since most of the spaces with signs were empty! Ok, so it was something that was bugging me.
Came home and started cooking tomatoes while Maggie
watched me...
Oh, and also while I was at the market, and it was National Cream Filled Donut Day, I bought one!
It was HEAVEN!

What makes it even worse is Southern Oregon Dental is now open on Thursday's only!!! Joe needs to speak to the owner of the building and get this changed since the dental office has cut its hours way back.
Very observant

Yes, Joe does need to do that! The last thing I want is for my car to be towed! ox
May all the shop owners get along in the parking lot. Do not want them taking out their frustration on the other's customers.
Sue, your photos today were fun as always, however, I was disappointed you did not have one of Ruthie sliding down the airline's escape slide.
Ruthie? Uh..... ???
