Good 55º morning. Slept in til nearly 8am!!! Not the usual.
Weird, in fact.
This video is amazing as citizens help police in Logan, Utah move a burning car off of a motorcyclist the car hit and drug....
Good people, heroes all!
Yesterday was busy. PJ and I went to Billy and Jeannie's and picked tomatoes, cukes, and jalapeños. Then to the Elks to meet up with Dee and take her the dish she brought to my party with salsa in it. Visited and had wine. Then home and do chores, bring in the tomatoes from the car, check on Maggs and Harley.
Then to the vet's to get Magg's meds. I took along the picture of the three dogs to see if they knew who owned them. Will check with the other vet's office today. Then to the market and the bank. Then............... to Double R for a par-tay for Dave's birthday. It was Taco Tuesday. PatC treated everyone to tacos !!! Thanks Pat. So very nice of you!!! I had a fish taco and a soft beef taco. GOOD!!! Will go back for tacos next Tuesday! Attending this craziness was Dave, PJ, PatC, Tim, Mike, Pam, Debbie, Tom. Barb's birthday was on Sunday so we celebrated her's too, even tho she works at Double R in the kitchen.... she stopped by the table periodically to gab.

National Cream Filled Donut Day
Darn! The only Krispy Kream (the BEST) donut shops are not even close to me! They are in Beverton, Vancouver, Tacoma, Clackamas, and Payallup! Come on. NOT fair! That's over a 4 hour drive from here. The next best thing is Stockton, CA.... next to an In-N-Out!! Whoooooot! But again, that's too far, about 6 hours. We are soooooo in the boonies up here! Sigh.... guess this will be savin' me some calories!

S,
Those donuts are making my mouth water. They used to be my downfall but as I have gotten older I can ignore them just fine.:) In n Out? Not so much! What a combination, huh? Ohhh the calories!
The birthday celebration looked like so much fun! When you talk about Taco Tuesdays I always wonder if they make crispy ones too. That's what I like! Crunch crunch!!
Happy sauce making! LOVE the bounty you harvested! So pretty! Lucky you!
Hugs, Trisha
Yes, they have soft and hard tacos. Really yummm!
Hi, I, too, love Krispy's donuts. I was introduced to them when I lived in Las Vegas. The boys and Julie adored them! When Dick and I go to Vegas, I always get one or two on the way out of town.
Lovely produce. I know your sauce will turn out great, as always.
I slept in late this morning! Unusal for me, but I just recently went through an insomnia period due to the nerve pain in my feet. Talk about a weakness. That's my feet.
I saw the clip on the news where the citizens pulled the man from under the vehicle. Local law enforcement were looking for the names of the individuals to honor them. I'm glad they weren't afraid to get involved.
Today was Social Security shopping day. First, to the bank, then K-Mart (put a great pub table and chairs on layaway now its on sale again), Sally's for hair stuff, Staples for ink (thank goodness I had a $20 off rewards coupon), and finally to Wal Mart. We stopped at Burger King for an early dinner.
We had the second day of rain, as predicted. Not as much as yesterday. Lots of lightening! Junior is afraid of storms and clings to our bedroom door if we are asleep or next to us if we are up.
Till tomorrow, Sarah signing off ...
