Good 55º, 78% humid, somewhat cloudy morning. Pretty.
Yesterday it got hot... whine whine whine, but prior to the heat blast I did get the mowing done, then set the sprinklers to cool it all down and give a drink. Filled the water tubs I have around for the critters and Momma Deer and her two infants showed up.
Baby turkeys showed up too, but just not as cute as the baby deer!!!
I put a chicken in the crockpot and it tantalized me all day with the aroma... drizzled with garlic/onion olive oil, sprinkled with garlic powder, sprinkled with Mrs. Dash, and a pinch of rosemary sea salt. Drool.....
And number 11 on the list of "Why I voted Democrat" ....
I voted Democrat because while we live in the greatest, most wonderful country in the world, I was promised “HOPE AND CHANGE”.
Now here's just MHO, if the Democrats were running the Senate and the Congress when Mr. Arrogance Personified took the office of the President, then why did Democrats want change? Uh, well, they got it. We have a Republican House. OMG. Watch what you "hope" for. LOL
This video is truly amazing. Third world peoples and what they do to survive, while we whine about everything! Photography will blow you away. Thank you Cyndi for sharing!!
Ok, so sometimes you get the perfect shot............ LOL

Today is also Phil and Suzanne Santisteven's anniversary. Happy Anniversary kids!!!! Is this the big 10??
Also, old Wilsonite... LOL, "old" (we all are!) Al Chacon is celebrating his birthday. Happy Birthday Al!
With his bride, Sarah (Nicholas) last year.
Maggs and I took the trash to the road and then went over to PJ's for a glass of wine. (Jeannie, PJ is officially one of our "SOW"s !
LOL... we need to get this statue!)
Dinner last night was good. I took the cucumbers and jalapeño Jeannie gave me from her garden, the carrots I got at Grower's Mkt, tomatoes from my garden (thank you Cindy for the plant!), feta cheese, mayo, sour cream, rosemary sea salt, and a piece of salmon (Thank you Aaron/Marie!) .....
Grilled the salmon and drizzled on garlic/onion olive oil and a squeeze of lime... (left over from the margarita~!)
Chopped the veggies and mixed with mayo, feta, and sour cream, rosemary sea salt, pinch of pepper...
and yes..... I added a scoop too much of mayo and a scoop too much of sour cream... but it was GOOD!!!!
The sun set and it was lovely....
Mr. Harley climbed up on my lap, his favorite place, and we watched TV....
All I now. Monday. Oh happy happy. Maggs gets a pedi/mani today. Yip. Ciao.
