Good 44º clear sunny morning.
I like Dunkin' Donut's coffees. I use their Cinnamon Spice a lot and just bought French Vanilla... Mmmmmm, good!!
Yesterday was pretty boring. I was having major issues with the computer or it's AOL... something made everything run slower than dial up! I was pissy about it all day. The dogs didn't do much besides nap. I cut some branches off the apple tree that were hanging on the ground and set them out for the deer. They LOVE apples and apple leaves.... not to mention they LOVE grape leaves!
My one vine by the carport is stripped on the ends from deer munching, but the new leaves are growing back....
Dale sent me this youtube video. Ah, let's see..... "monkey see, monkey do" ... that fits!!! Duh... Let's dissect this... you act stupid with an automatic weapon and then you HAND A LOADED AUTOMATIC WEAPON TO A MONKEY! No gray matter here. Go monkey!

Now, here's a favorite recipe of mine. When you crave a turkey sandwich and it's the middle of summer this is the trick...
3# turkey breast
1 can cranberry sauce - whole or jelly
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
Mix cranberry sauce and onion soup mix. Put turkey breast in crockpot. Top with cranberry/onion mixture. Cook on low for 8 hours.
If frozen, cook on high for 2 hours, then low for 6 hours.
Makes AWESOME turkey sandwiches!!!

Loved The Rebel TV show!
She played "Lolita" and was on one of those 'marrying trips' with 5 husbands under her belt!
A wack job.... Sheehan released a statement on May 2, 2011 indicating that she considers the death of Osama bin Laden to be a hoax, stating "If you believe the newest death of OBL, you’re stupid,"[96] referring to America as a "lying, murderous Empire" and telling Americans, whom she called "brainwashed," to "put [their] flags away."[97][98] This beeotch needs to be taken for a ride by Ted Kennedy! Oh wait, he's dead. Well, maybe she can go hunting with Dick Cheney!
Simpson: Is this chicken what I have, or is this fish? I know it’s tuna, but it says Chicken ... by the sea. Is that stupid? [Long pause, with Lachey giving Simpson a dirty look]
Simpson: What? Don’t make fun of me right now. I’m not in the mood.
Lachey: You act like you’ve never had tuna before.
Simpson: I’ve had tuna fish, like, sandwiches and stuff, like this.
Lachey: Baby, you and I have eaten tuna like this before.
Simpson: Why is it called "Chicken by the Sea" or "in the Sea"?
Lachey: "Chicken of the Sea" is the brand.
Simpson: Oh.
Lachey: You know, 'cause a lot of people eat tuna, it's like a lot of people eat chicken? So it's like the chicken of the sea.
Simpson: Okay. I understand now. I was ... I read it wrong.

I see a Party!!!! for artichokes of course! They go with Wine!!! Debbie
LOL, it would have to be "hearts only" because you cannot get the meat off those leaves! Tough tough tough. ox
S,
I am still sitting here wondering what the hell those guys were thinking to give that chimp a loaded machine gun!! It was a hoot tho when they all took off! Loved the way he raised it above his head like they do. Don't you wonder who chased him down and got it back?? IDIOTS!!!
Love your flags! I was thinking your Marine flag serves two purposes. One is obvious and the other lets any bad guys know that a Marine lives there, Right?
Oh what beautiful artichokes! You must have had to cook many pots loaded. Such a shame that you can't eat the meat off the leaves.
Liked the moving gals face. Too funny! lol

Good idea re the flags! Never thought of that. Thanks, T. Oh, by the way, fun getting to know Sue Robuck again and amazing you two connected! xo
Turkey recipe sounds delish.....easy enough that even I could make it! I love cranberry sauce any old way......someone should tell Jessica to keep her mouth SHUT!!!
xoxo Sally
Yes, you will like this recipe!
As for Jessica, she's so proving her dizzy blondeness!
Sue,
I forgot to comment on the turkey breast. I LOVE the sound of that. It looks as tho that's a Jenny-O little turkey breast. I have always bought those and had the butcher slice before bringing home. That's a terrific idea for dinner one night too.
I had better put it in my notebook or I will forget about it.
Thanks!
XO Trisha
p.s. Hope you asked Sue Robuck if she wanted to receive your blog.
Hi Sue!
The turkey recipe sounds wonderful! I think I will try it this week! Love to you!

Oh, yum, I do remember you making the crock pot turkey before. I must make it! Is Atlas visiting? He sure is a handsome guy. We purchased a thermometer on the first and have recorded temps in our backyard of 120+ no landscaping as yet to cool it off. Our landlord will be installing it later this month or early next month. He is using a plan I found on the Better Homes and Gardens web site for a patio garden with an adjacent rose garden. He will put astro turf and rocks there also. Sara signing off
