Good 37º cloudy morning. Looks like no rain for a couple days, here
anyway...
We actually got some sun for a bit yesterday and it warmed to 50º. Not long
after that it was POURING again!!! Then the sun, then the wind, then more rain.
All day! What crazy weather. The wind blew hard so all the windows and doors were full of raindrops! Every time Dude and Bruiser went out they came back
in all wet. I thought for sure we'd get quite a bit in the rain gauge, but alas
only 1/4" !!
While I was working at my desk... I was being watched...
Got this from pal Ike Saben (LASD ret)... it's mind blowing. Don't blink as
you will miss something. I LOVED the baby monkey kissing it's mom!!
I was on the phone with DirecTV FOREVER! After doing what was suggested
with the unplugging the box and rebooting it... still nothing. So called again
and said I want a tech out here!!!! So, Thursday ....... the soonest. The gal I
was talking to was in Mississippi. Then I needed to talk to customer service
about the DTV website. Waited and waited some more. Then finally.... and got
that straightened out. The guy I was talking to about that was in the
Philippines!! ??????? So, I moved my chair from the living room to the dining
room where a TV works! Grrrrrr........ Dude is confused why I was in here since
"his couch" is in the living room! Bruiser didn't care, he slept on my lap
anyway!

This was my Maggie's birthday... 1999. She passed in 2013. Still so missed
every day! She was a Scottish McNab. She had red hair, my mom was Scottish and
had red hair, ergo... her name Maggie (Mom's was Margaret!)

her life....

Like Brian said and I agree, quit whining over daylight savings time!!! It
happens EVERY year! Get over it. It's just an hour!!! Here is the history behind
it....
Dinner, another concoction. Brown rice, Tabouli, asparagus,
spinach...
The rice was cooked in the rice cooker. The asparagus steamed with olive
oil and a little water and garlic salt. Everything mixed together along with
fresh spinach.
Some fresh tomatoes and Sriracha mayonnaise on the chicken...
I like Tabouli. It's ingredients include: bulgar wheat, parsley, onion, sea
salt, citric acid, garlic, canola oil, lemon .... mix it in a bowl with 1½ cups
hot water and 1/3 cup olive oil. Mix and let sit for an hour. Refrigerate if you
are going to eat it cold as a salad.
