More computer/modem problems. So so frustrated.

Today are two special birthdays.... my pretty friend Olga (wife of Jim Duran..LASD Sgt). HAPPY BIRTHDAY O!! I hope your day is wonderful!!! ♥♥♥

And... today is also the birthday of my pal Patty's son, Chuck. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHUCKLES!!! xoxo

And bad bad me... yesterday, Valentine's Day was also the 2nd Wedding Anniversary of Aaron and Marie... HAPPY ANNIVERSARY KIDS! ♥♥ ~

I had dinner at Brian and Jen's last night. Jen made a FEAST~! She had fried brown rice with veggies and made a Japanese sauce to go with. She had bacon wrapped filets and edamame. Dessert was a "Smore" pie and a frozen coffee pie. OMGOOD!!!! It's a wonder Brian isn't HUGE from all the good food Jen cooks! I have pictures, but they will have to wait until I get my big computer back.......today.

And today would have been Jerry's mom's 90th birthday. Winona Maxwell passed away on October 5, 2012. She is missed! ♥♥♥

Yesterday was my Italian son's birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY a day late ALEX!! ♥♥♥

Tuesday was a long day. Posted my blog, took my computer into Turk in GP, headed to Costco..... Shopped until I dropped. Home to Ace to get a new battery for my photo viewer, got some kindling from Dave (thanks so much!!!) .. then to drop off Costco items Jeannie wanted and have a glass of wine. Yesterday I did nothing much ... some housework, fed Dave & PJ's fish, messed with this laptop, cooked..... My pals Jeannie and Bill have headed out for a few weeks in their motorhome. No snow on the summit. Should be nice weather all the way.

All I know. Nuff said. HAPPY VALENTINE's DAY! Ciao.

Jerry Wayne Maxwell 12-2-40 - 2-12-07

Today is the 6th anniversary of Jerry's passing. Time means nothing. I miss him every single day as if this was the first day. I did have a great fun dream about him the other night.
RIP my Darling! ♥

Funny thing how numbers were always a part of our life ..... his birth on 12-2 and death on 2-12. Another weird thing, he died at 2:20! My birthday on the 2nd also, his dad and my Kristen born on Halloween. His mom and my Brian born on Valentine's Day. His son Aaron born on Tax Day and so was my grandson Jack. Granddaughter Sami born on the 2nd and grandson Tucker born on th 20th.

YUMMMMMM......

1987 with Bob St.Clair, Jerry, Don Johnston, Dennis Howell, Ed Bennett (he passed away a month before Jerry in a motorcycle collision with a train.) All worked at Temple together.

He loved his cigars!

He used to buy them from Rau Cigars on Beverly and Vermont in LA. Hand rolled. Cuban tobacco. Every time he'd take a cigar band off the cigar he'd ask me if I liked music. Of course I said, "yes"... and he'd say "Good, then here's a whole band" while slipping the cigar band on my finger.

... and he loved his Maggie! Mutual.

Not long after Jerry died I made the mistake of saying something about "your Daddy" which Maggie knew as Jerry.... she wagged her tail, wanted outside, and she sat on the porch and spent the whole day looking towards the gate waiting for her 'Daddy' to come home. I sat inside and cried!

Freeze chopped green onion in a plastic bottle, so every time you need a small amount to cook with, you can 'pour' green onions out of the bottle.

I want to see this movie... The Life of Pi ... saw a story on it. Interesting....especially the tiger!

The birthday barbecue yesterday at Debbie and Tom's for Johnette was really nice. I took Dee's 'salsa/cheese' dip and Frito Scoops and it was a hit! PatC made deviled eggs. Yummmm. We had barbecued steak, baked potatoes, salad, and Tom made a pretzel/chocolate crusted cheesecake with a caramel topping. GREAT tasting! We all rolled out of there oinking! Debbie took pictures of us and I took pictures of the food!
