Starting a Harley ~ Jackie Chan Audio Tester ~ Fresh Berry Dessert

Good 51º clear morning. Temps have sure stayed nice here. In the 80ºs .... Even sleep with a blanket at night.

OMG, got this video of a guy starting a Harley from Brian Cook (LASD ret) and it's a RIOT!!!! I laughed and laughed!

Yesterday went to the ENT doc. After a hearing test and pressure tests with Bobby Lee (who by the way looks just like Jackie Chan...

and was funny and really nice.) It was determined my hearing has not had any major loss...just normal due to aging. Then the doc examined me and told me the tests he performed indicated no fluid in inner ear! Another diagnosis shot to h*ll! (That's #3 by my former GP!) The nurse sprayed two different things into my nose. OMG! WHAT A HORRIBLE TASTE! That deadened the nasal passages and the throat. Doc put a "spaghetti" size camera up my nose and down my throat. UGH. Said everything looks perfect! Whaaaaaaaaaaa?????????? Seems as though so far every test I have had shows all pieces and parts of me to be "perfect". Why am I dizzy (I know... some of you will say the reason is because my hair is blonde!) and why do I cough all the time?? We'll get to the bottom of this soon, I hope.

If you are interested in how this endoscopy is done, here is a video. You can watch it all or just the beginning of the procedure and then skip to about 8min 38seconds (moving the little button at the bottom) to see the end.

Historically this date....
1946 – At Club 500 in Atlantic City, New Jersey, Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis stage their first show as a comedy team.

1915Joseph Kennedy Jr., Elder brother of President John F. Kennedy (d. 1944)

1923Estelle Getty, American actress (d. 2008)

1967Matt LeBlanc, American actor

Here is an awesome and sooooooo easy dessert...

Take some strawberries and cut them up, add blueberries, add blackberries (or really, any kind of fresh berries you like) ... drizzle on some limoncello liquor ... stir in and refrigerate until time to eat. OMG!

All I know. Nuff said. Off to the lab for fasting blood test, potassium levels test, and back x-ray. Sigh............... Happy Hump Day.

Baby Boy ~ David, Doug, & Babette ~ Chicken Spinach Cheese Patty Dinner

Good 50º clear sunny morning.

STOP THE PRESSES!!!
Baby is a boy cat! Don't ask, but confirmed by me, a mother and grandmother, he has the necessary stuff to call him a boy! I'm still keeping his name as Baby. Since he's black and white I could call him Radio Car or Cruiser (Crew-za if we were in New Jersey!) Maybe I'll call him Baby Cruiser. or Bruiser! LOL

Today my nephew David turns 49.... a high school friend, Doug Gossage, is celebrating his special day, and Sandy's baby sister Babette (Todoran) is celebrating her birthday today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you all!!!!!!

Didn't have room on my blog yesterday for the dinner I had. I coated the 'chicken-spinach-cheese' patties (Costco) with olive oil and grilled them along with some sweet peppers. Made a salad with spinach, tomatoes, artichoke heart, cucs, and avocado. Brianna's Poppyseed Dressing.... And al denté broccoli. EXCELLENT!

All I know. Off to see the ENT doc today, finally. It's been since February when I made the appointment!!! Since my old doctor said I had asthma, and I don't after seeing a specialist... and he said my foot problem was arthritis, it's not...plantar fasciitis, and he said I have fluid in my inner ear... causing dizziness (come by that naturally...LOL) so today we find out for sure. Happy Tuesday.

National Tequila Day

                    YES!

.•*¨*•♫♪
Well, it's Sunday mornin',

And the sun is shinin' in my

Eye that is open,

And my head is spinnin',

Was the life of the party,

I can't stop grinnin',

I had too much tequila last night.

.•*¨*•♫♪

(Chorus:)

José Cuervo you are a friend of mine.

I like to drink you

with a little salt and lime.

Did I kiss all the cowboys?

Did I shoot out the lights?

Did I dance on the bar?

Did I start any fights?

.•*¨*•♫♪

(Chorus:)

Now wait a minute,

Things don't look too familiar.

Who is the cowboy who's sleepin' beside me?

Well, he's awfully cute,

But how'd I get his shirt on?

I had too much tequila last night.

.•*¨*•♫♪

(Chorus)

All those little shooters,

How I love to drink them down.

Come on bartender, let's have another round.

Well, the music is playin',

And my spirits are high.

Tomorrow might be painful,

But tonight we're gonna fly.

.•*¨*•♫♪

(Chorus)

José Curervo

You are a friend of mine.

I like to drink you with a little salt and lime.

Everytime we get together,

I sure have a good time.

You're my friend, you're the best...

Mí Amigo....

.•*¨*•♫♪

(Chorus)

José Cuervo, you are a friend of mine!

Accident Subject ~ Polydactyl Cats ~ Turkey Chicks ~ Deer

Good 45º morning. Cooled off to 66º late yesterday. I was sitting on the porch with Baby and it was cold!

*****************************************************

This accident, I posted pictures of on Saturday's blog, was
caused by a young man, who apparently was under the influence of something. He was unmanagable at the ER and had to be subdued.

In the Courier it said, subjects name is Aaron Black, 24..... "Black also was charged with recklessly endangering another person and refusing a test for alcohol, but apparently was cited and released." (Swell. No jail space or $ to keep him in.)

***************************************************

My 'Baby' feral cat is what is called a "polydactyl" breed. Extra toes....

The funny thing, my friends Debbie and Tom have a cat that 'hangs out' at their house up in Grants Pass... Here is her picture and Baby's picture...

Ya think they'd be distant cousins????? LOL.

I also found a blog that has a cat also named Harley!

So, yesterday I had been out back filling the water tubs, came in and the moms and baby turkeys showed up. They panicked when I opened the back door but I called the moms and they all came back for a treat...

The babies all drank water from the tub. Then Missy Deer showed up...

and soon as she was there Mr. Buck showed....

July 22nd National Penuche Fudge Day

Penuche is a sort of fudge made with brown sugar instead of regular sugar. Sometimes chopped pecans are added for a bit of texture. Is it a summertime food? Well, it isn't light and airy. But it doesn't require turning on the oven, either!
