Married in the courtyard of the San Gabriel Congregational Church on San Gabriel Blvd. Steve Voors (LASD ret) was Best Man and Sandy (Todoran Kraut) Beck (Wilson S'63)was my Matron of Honor. Kristen was Flower Girl and Brian the Ring Bearer. We had a party at our house after the ceremony. Happy Anniversary Darling!  ♥ ♥

Dinner was reruns... but pre-dinner was a watermelon martini...

YUMMMMMM!!!!!

Watched some TV. Napped in chair. Got up to go to bed and took a picture of that full moon...

I like that new show, Night Shift. A little more intense and nuttier than Grey's Anatomy. Guy who runs hospital is a jerk, one doctor was a medic in Afghanistan during conflict. Interesting stuff.

Good 51º 20% possibility of rain today. First thing this morning it was raining on my mountain, but has stopped and don't know if it will get all the way down here.

LOL, I did get my truck washed yesterday! Windy all yesterday afternoon. Some up to 34mph. Tree fell on Rogue River Hwy about mile post 11 and 3100 people including all the businesses in Rogue River were without power for several hours. Fortunately the signals were still working when I passed through about 2pm and then this occurred about 2:30pm. The FedEx guy was here about 3:30 and told me without the signals working the traffic was insane. Nobody paid any attention to what was happening and drove like idiots. Duh, this is Orygun! They all drive like idiots!

On a sad note.... Karen Blair, graduate of Medford High School in 1970, Graduate of Glendale Az CC in 1979, realtor/broker for Keller Williams Realty in Medford, and Medford City Councilwoman, passed away on June 11th.

Karen was a member of our Jackson County Republican Women's group. She was a really neat gal! Her family consisted of her cousin Sal Esquivel, Oregon State Representative for Medford District 8. RIP Karen.

Yesterday was errand day, water day. Dude needed some more "Shed Relief" so had to got to PetCo. I needed a couple groceries, so to Safeway. Also needed some blank DVDs, so to Staples.

Dinner was quinoa, cooked in my rice cooker with Trader Joe's spices and garlic. Cut up mini squash and tomatoes and sauteéd them in olive oil and added Goya Chipotle Marinade for spice. Added in the quinoa and some yellow/white shredded cheese and some Parmesan. OMGOOOOD!!! Vegan but the quinoa is protein.

Happy Throw Back Thursday... My house where I grew up and how it looks today..

In front is a macadamia nut tree. Daddy's pride and LOADED with macadamia nuts!

 

Yesterday I paid bills (again, excitement). I made some hummus. First batch was the artichoke/lemon hummus. I used my own canned artichoke hearts (lemon and olive oil), tahini, and a drained can of sliced mushrooms. YOWSA GOOD!

I ate some with vegetable chips...

The next batch I made with lemon juice, tahini, drained black olives, and Christopher Ranch (1/2 jar) pesto...

Again... YOWSA GOOD! Had some later with raw veggies (celery, carrots, snap peas,   )

Bruiser took off for a "hunt" about 6pm. I kept going out calling him and also several times in the night. No Bruise. Last time was 3:30am. No Bruise. When I got up at 7am he was out there laying on Dude's bed. Sigh..... makes me crazy!
