yesterday the SUN CAME OUT!!! Yeah!
Took Maggs to the vets and he wants to do a test for Cushings Disease. The test kit has to come from Denver and the test samples are sent to Tennessee. She will have to spend the day at the vets, as they have an 8 hour window between the first blood draw, a shot, and the second blood draw. He has already tested her for kidney, liver, diabetes, and something else....

I know that thrilled you reading all of that. This is the least common of diseases dogs get. Naturally. So, she'll have this done probably next week.
Then we went to Grants Pass to Brian's office. He got pig ears and light bulbs (Costco stuff) and I got a long sleeved red shirt with STATE FARM on the front. Advertising for my boy! Stopped at the post office and mailed off a bunch of people photos I found that were about 20-30 years old. Thought they folks I sent them to would enjoy. I didn't stop and see the geese and ducks, as Maggie was ready to go home after sitting in the vet's office for 2 hours!

.......Interesting side note, most everyone I have ever heard pronounce Delphi - says "Del-fi", but when I was in Greece in 2009 and went to Delphi... the Greeks pronounce it "Del-fee".

Interesting clouds in the sky yesterday afternoon....

This one runs from the pond way up in the trees all the way through my property, through Frank and Cindy's, and through Dave and PJ's. Then it dumps out into the ditch along the road. One year, I'm thinking 1999 or 2000, it was up over the banks, you could kayak in it, and it washed out some of the road at the culverts.
And then we had a gorgous sunset.....
