Mo' Rain ~ Stuff ~ Cathy's Snake ~ More Stuff

Good 39º scattered cloudy morning.

Yesterday morning I took this photo about 7am and then 10 minutes later it was POURING! That only lasted half an hour. Then about 10:30 it started sprinkling again. Then again at 1pm it started again!
But again, it only poured for a few minutes. Of course Bruiser was out and about... I called him. He finally came in when the rain stopped. He was only slightly wet. All in all we got about 1/5" of rain.

Breakfast was Franz whole wheat English muffin

with Ricotta on half and Bee's Knees white chocolate peanut butter on the other, my green veggie/fruit drink, and coffee.
http://ilovepeanutbutter.com/  This peanut butter is made with honey. It is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good!!!

Kristen was feeling better yesterday and was eating a little. She decided to stay home one more day.

So, I was feeling better too. Got off my butt and did some laundry, cleaned the shower, and other over the top exciting stuff. Then during the second load of laundry my washing machine stopped working. Now I have to call repair! Grrrrrrr

This from pal Ike Saben (LASD ret)..... I'm still laughing..

My friend Cathy (LASD ret) has a bunch of puppies who were barking and barking. She investigated and found a small rattlesnake by their pen. She caught it and transported it away from population... What a gal!!!!

Dinner was some melon and pineapple, Babybel cheese, mozzarella stick, and a rice cake with tuna mixed with garlic mayonnaise.

Still not in the cooking mood. Maybe tonight.

All I know. Nuff said. Happy Monday. Ciao.

April 25th
World Penguin Day

April 25th marks the start of the Adelie penguins’ migration northward into the surrounding Antarctic seas. They will swim only about a few hundred miles (or 600km), where they’ll stay aloft among the icebergs, chowing down on the krill and other penguin-y favorites.

Like you post a lot.
For future reference, small young rattlesnakes will give a full dose of venom. Tell her to be careful.

Cathy is very careful. Apparently she has transported a number of them from her place. xo

OMG! Cathy is one brave gal! I can't imagine catching and transporting a rattle snake anywhere! When we get them on our patio John shoots them with snake shot. I won't invade their territory if they won't invade mine. :(

You meals looks so healthy. I especially love the sound of peanut butter and white chocolate! :)

Glad Kristen is feeling better. Matthew was sick with a cold all weekend. He stayed down and in his pj's and has gone to school this morning. Hopefully the rest of us won't get it. Hope my zinc is protecting me. :)

Glad to hear your daughter is feeling better.

May all the rain you get be tied up in a bow- and where it lands, may you find a pot of gold.

The rain is Heaven up here right now, L. I'd like to see a rainbow! xo

LOL!! He was soooo scared. Poor thing. He barely stopped rattling the entire time. He was coiled soooo very tightly that I didn't see his length until I released him.

He was about 2 1/2' long! Amazing they can coil up so small.

He was in my Large Reptile Transporter in those pics.

:) Cathy
