Throw Back Thursday ~ New Shirts ~ Trish Bowler ~ Alexander Bowler ~ Maddie Maxwell ~ African Air Filter ~ Deer ~ Liary Leak ~ Junk Food Day

Good 54ยบ clear sunny morning.

Today is Throw Back Thursday....
My Kristen 1976. ♥♥♥♥

Yesterday I putzed around. Nothing specific. Read a bunch of emails that had stacked up. Wrote most of today's blog. Ordered two new shirts:

High School pal Doug Gossage was supposed to be up here on his way to Bend for his wife Bridgett's reunion, but alas he never showed. I got an email saying that he was leaving later than planned and going up highway 395 instead. Too bad Doug, you missed out on dinner at Taprock! (Boo hoo hoo, so did I!)

Here is my pal Trish again...

Delegates take part in the convention openings, 2nd day, July 19th (This was posted on KTLA TV site)
This was off my TV last night.. I know, fuzzy!

Trish's son Daryl was an alternate delegate and traveled to Cleveland with her. Yesterday he got word that his Becky was in labor (10 days early) so Daryl got a flight back, but missed Alexander's birth. Here is their new little guy...

Now Trish and I both have grandchildren born on the same day. Yesterday was Maddie's birthday.

Also, one of my granddaughters is Alexandria and Trish now has an Alexander!

This is when you say, "HOLY SNAKE".... An African air filter! Shared by high school pal, Ellen (Naugle) Pantalone:

It wasn't too awfully hot but the deer had found shade and were lounging in it!

LOL:
She's so full of sh*t it's leaking out!!!

Later it was reruns for dinner, after having hoped for a Taprock crab salad, chair, wine, and the convention and some NCIS LA and Blue Bloods!

All I know. Nuff said. Happy TBT. Ciao.

National Junk Food Day

For some of us, every day is Junk Food Day. For the rest of us, National Junk Food Day is an opportunity to guiltlessly eat your favorite junk food.
Dietitians will tell you that junk food is any food that contains little nutritional value. We also include foods that are high in salts, fats, and sugars. In other words, junk food is all that tasty stuff that the dietitians, and Mom, say is bad for us.

On Junk Food Day, you get to eat anything you want. Eat any amounts that you want, too. Tomorrow, however, it's back to a healthy diet.
