~ SNOW Again .. LOTS! ~ Hummingbird ~ Latte Day ~

Good 31º snowing morning. Yep, more snow, but on the ground here. Started last night. Pretty. Peaceful. Quiet.

Yesterday the gauge showed 3" of rain.
And the clouds were clinging to the mountain ...

This morning....

And this little baby hummingbird was sitting on the
feeder... he was shaking! He didn't seem to mind
Maggie and I were on the porch either.....

Yesterday PatT went with me and we put mailing labels on flyers at the Republican HQ. 500 in an hour. Then to the post office to mail them. Our group has a permit so we take them to the 'bulk mailing' desk. What a cluster going on there! The lady helping us was nice but the guy helping the others sounded like he didn't have a clue what he was talking about. Confused the heqq out of the folks talking in circles. A gal with a clipboard was standing in the corner observing all this. Hmmmmm....

Being married to Charlie Sheen had to take
a big toll on this poor gal. Doesn't look like Sheen's TV show
is going to make it. He commented that he'd rather be
high than go to rehab. Loser.

Ok, here's my foodie contribution for today...
Gravy Pork Chops with Stuffing Biscuits

1
tablespoon butter or margarine
4
bone-in pork loin chops, about 1/2 inch thick (about 1 3/4 lb)
1
jar (12 oz) home-style pork gravy
1
medium stalk celery, thinly sliced (1/2 cup)
1/4
cup chopped onion (1 small)
1
cup Original Bisquick® mix
1/2
teaspoon dried sage leaves
1/3
cup milk

Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray. In 12-inch nonstick skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add pork chops; cook 8 to 10 minutes, turning once, until browned. Place pork chops in baking dish. Pour gravy over top.
In same skillet, cook celery and onion over medium-high heat 3 to 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until tender; remove from heat.
In small bowl, stir Bisquick mix, sage and milk until blended. Stir in celery and onion mixture. Drop large spoonful of dough onto each pork chop.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown and pork chops are no longer pink in center.

Not much else going on. Happy Thursday. Ciao.
