Good 46º cloudy morning. 1/4" rain yesterday.

Yes, here we are again... 4-17 .... California Penal Code section for "brandishing a firearm in a rude or threatening manner" and doing so is a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment in a county jail for not less than 30
days. And if it occurs in a public place a fine of $1000 and/or jail is mandated. If this occurs on the grounds of a day care center for children under 18 years old then the jail time increases to no less than 3 months. If this occurs in the presence of a police officer jail in county for no less than 9 months not to exceed 1 year or in state prison for 16 months or 3 years.
Or.......................... it's a radio code in CA for "man with a gun". Got it? Good.

Just don't get caught between two cross-hairs! Er.... hares....

On Sunday I put out my trash can and also propped up the old Dirt Devil Broom/Vac on the can......

It still worked, albeit not well. I left the recharger and cord wrapped around the handle. So, when I returned from the Mediterranean...... taaaa daaaaaa........

Yesterday was a trip to Medford for the annual, what we ladies call .... boobie smash! Ugh. Then for some shopping... went to

ALWAYS a fun shopping trip! Got lots of goodies at a much much cheaper price than our local market... whole Foster Farms chickens 89¢ a pound, canned dog food $1 less, hot dogs (Maggie eats the chicken and turkey ones) instead of $2.50 they were $1.19. Also got fresh asparagus, spinach, tomatoes, and wine was about $4-$5 less. Got home and there were cones in my driveway!

Trees Inc were cutting the tree branches interfering with the overhead lines. They finished the one tree and then moved out of the way for me.

Came home, unloaded the car, sat and had a glass of wine and chatted with BFF for a bit. Then on to dinner....

First I toasted some pine nuts and into the food processor went garlic the pine nuts, spinach, olive oil, and parmesan cheese. Voilá... Spinach Pesto! Mmmm.... a little salt and pepper and perfecto!

Then I sauteéd some garlic and onion, added in cut up asparagus and shrimp.

I cannot live without adding tomatoes to almost anything.. since they are so good for you when cooked~

Cook the gnocchi in boiling salted water until it floats ....

Then drain and add to the shrimp asparagus mixture. Mix in some of the spinach pesto....
