That picture I posted yesterday of my mountain shrouded in smoke I had sent to KOBI TV station here in Medford. They put it on their 5 o'clock news and I didn't know that. I watched the 6 o'clock and the 7 o'clock and it wasn't on there. My neighbor Frank called me yesterday to say he was blown away when they showed a picture of something that looked familiar on the news .. the mountain and their house hidden in the trees.. and then on the news they said, "Thank you Sue Maxwell for this photo." !!! Dang, missed it! Frank and Cindy's house behind the trees where the arrow is....

Yesterday a quick run into Grants Pass to do some shopping. A stop first at the Kitchen Country store to give Jennifer some of the eggplant I made and she gave me some of the beans she made. Then to Safeway for everything... fresh veggies, dog food, cat food, wine, yogurt, mascarpone cheese, blueberry scones, mozzarella cheese sticks, etc. Then a quick stop at Fred Meyer's. Haven't been in that store since before Jerry died... over 8 years. It was depressing. They keeps the lighting down. Store unorganized. Was looking for a particular Oregon Ducks shirt for a gift, but they didn't have the size. Back to the internet! I wore my
shirt and got LOTS of comments from shoppers!

Home and out of that smoke...put away groceries and crashed in my chair with a cold glass of wine. We had 101º at 2:30pm. Down to 99º buy 3:30pm. It wasn't the 103º predicted, but hot enough for everyone! No deer in sight yesterday... turkeys showed up but stood in the shade in the back.

I had a piece of the eggplant, a couple mozzarella sticks, so didn't fix anything major for dinner. Had some of Jennifer's beans. They are AWESOME! She will share the recipe... several types of beans, garbanzos, artichoke hearts, and a cilantro pesto she bought from Juan Carlos at Gtano's. OMGOOOOD!

Then a movie... Hallmark
Cute. Villain played by Christopher Lloyd... and he was!
He plays a good bad guy, as probably easy for him. Must not be the easiest guy to get along with... married and divorced 4 times!
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Hump Day. Ciao.
