Lundells ~ Football ~ Veggie Stir-fry w/ Ravioli ~ Pesto Crescent Rolls ~ Jake

Good 35ยบ morning.

Yesterday morning 8am....

Yesterday afternoon 4pm.....

I am very concerned about my high school pal Greg and his wife Becky Lundell. They recently moved from So. Cal to Illinois. I saw the destruction on the news last night from the tornados back there. Have sent him an email to ask if they are OK, but no response so far. They are about 30 miles west of Chicago. Praying.....

Football scores....
...some disappointing scores here.... and some good ones .... we'll see how tonight goes!

Dinner was veggie stirfry and ravioli with Ricotta cheese...
Red and yellow mini peppers, green beans, mini squash, and grape tomatoes..
See how the pot doesn't boil over with a wooden spoon across the top!

OMGOOD!!!

Here's the WD-40 tip of the week:
*Lubricate sliding power saw guides
*Prevent dirt and dust on door and window tracks
*Reduce friction and improve maneuverability on drill bits

Another one of my kitchen cooking experiments from Saturday was crescent rolls with pesto and roasted red peppers. I used my homemade spinach pesto...
Spread the pesto on each crescent, add chopped roasted peppers...

Roll up...
Bake per directions...
OMGAWD, they are good. Addictive.....
Then I got to thinking... what if you spread a little mayo on the crescent, added some chopped bacon, and a little of your favorite cheese.... OR.... roast a head of garlic, squeeze it out of the skin, spread some on each crescent along with maybe a little canned tuna or salmon... OR sprinkle on a cinnamon and sugar mixture to go with your morning coffee! If you do this... let me know how it turned out. I'm going to do more experimenting...

He's too weird for me! Mostly it's the way he talks like he's all mushy.. and then there's that nose that looks like a male part!
Another special birthday today is Erika and Spence's baby Jake! HAPPY 12th BIRTHDAY JAKE! Slurps from Dude, slaps from Bruiser, and hugs from me!

Does anyone have a suggestion for a printer/scanner/fax that is good? Mine is a couple years old and it's an HP and it's CRAP!!! I am so disgusted with it.

All I know. Nuff said. Happy Monday. Still enough full moon out there ... be careful! Ciao.
