Yesterday was haircut day and take Jennifer's artichokes
and avocados from Costco to her since she works and couldn't join us. I had an interesting chat with a couple in Safeway. She had worked in the pet food industry and told me a lot about pet food and what not to buy. He had been a cop in S. Carolina. Received a bad injury (broken back) in a fight during a family disturbance call. He retired and they moved to Oregon. He was funny. Looked like an old hippie with a pony tail and gold necklaces! Really nice people though and I enjoyed talking to them. Wow, but the transition from cop to hippie was something!
Here is a great site... https://www.windsetfarms.com/
This is where the tomatoes I got at Costco came from...

This was the news a year ago today... and it's not
getting any better!
"The news today is horrendous. 5 teens killed in Orange
County in horrible car wreck, man puts his baby in the freezer because she was
crying, a step-father in LA stabs an 11 year old boy to death, Justin Bieber
"stoned" and driving reckless AGAIN. The amazing story was the baby found alive
in the sewer pipe in China! Flushed down the pipe a new born.
Unbelievable!"
