Burglary Video ~ Walmart Cars ~ Angel Hair Pasta w/ Tomatoes

Good 24ยบ totally frozen morning. Supposed to stay just "cloudy" for today and rain coming tomorrow.

Ok, now here is a 911 call. The woman has a live streaming video she is watching from work of 2 burglars in her house.

She's not the sharpest knife in the drawer, since there are two men visible in the video, one it looks like has a tire iron in his hand, and she tells the 911 operator that she sees only one. It does have a happy ending if you can get through the woman going on and on and saying "Oh God" about a thousand times! My sympathies to the 911 operator. Been there, done that! (Thanks George Bachmeier for this!)

And for most of you, like me, you get so many unwanted calls.

Mostly political at this time. Gator, an email friend, sent this link for you to register with the Do Not Call Registry .... I did. Do it and you will stop getting those annoying calls...
Thanks Gator. You are right, time to re-register!

From my Greece traveling friend, Pat Kelly, here are some hysterical "Wal Mart cars" ....

Dinner last night was light....

Several turns of olive oil in a large frying pan.... heat and add a couple anchovies. (I know. I know. You, unless you have cooked much Italian food, you are going "Ewwwwwww"
and making a face. Come on.... really? The anchovies 'melt' into the hot oil. NO fish taste, ever! They impart a 'nutty' flavor. Everyone likes my sauce..... so they are in there!) ....

So, then I added the sliced garlic and slowly let it saute and soften then the mushrooms and finally the cut up tomatoes. The angel hair pasta was tomato and basil and whole wheat. Stir that all together and heat. Keeping about 1/2 a cup of the pasta cooking liquid to add also. GREAT meal!

Kazoo Day

People young and old love Kazoos. Kazoo Day celebrates the the joy of this musical instrument.
Alabama Vest of Macon Georgia made the first Kazoo in the 1840's. Actually, he conceived the Kazoo, and had Thaddeus Von Clegg, a German clockmaster make it to his specifications.
Commercial production of the Kazoo didn't occur until many years later in 1912. Manufacturing was first started by Emil Sorg in Western New York. Sorg joined up with Michael McIntyre, a Buffalo tool and die maker. Production moved to Eden, NY where the factory museum remains today.
Kazoos are easy to play. Simply hum a tune into the kazoo, and you're an expert. Kazoos can be played solo, or in groups. It plays a great tune both ways.
What do you do on National Kazoo day? Why, play the kazoo, of course.
