Fog (boring) ~ TBT ~ Louisiana Senator ~ Soapbox On People's Choice Awards ~ Couscous Jalapeño Dog Queso Combo ~ Hunk Watching Day

Good 38º foggy (what else) morning. Sun did come out here about 1pm yesterday. Never did in Grants Pass! Then at about 5pm the fog started coming back in...

THROW BACK THURSDAY

My friend Jim Forbus (former LASD & ret Washoe County Det) took these pictures the other day when he was visiting the Sheri'ff's Museum.

If you have 4 minutes, maybe you should watch this. A Senator in Louisiana who was a Democrat and now a Republican. Why did it take this guy so long to figure it out? Democrats sponsor socialism which is akin to communism. Why? Control! This guy is right on in his assessment of what has and is going wrong with "hand outs" (food stamps, free medical,) government intervention, bailouts, etc. Education is being derailed by leftist liberals who are passing on their goals and idealisms to our school children through college professors teaching our susceptible school grammar, middle school, and high school teachers.

Historically this date...

I tried to watch the People's Choice Awards but every time I switched the channel to watch I was disgusted. Anna Faris and Allison Janney of the "Mom" series were hosts.
UGH! Idiots. Their show is sooooo stupid! Except for Betty White winning, the rest must have been voted in by 5 year olds! REALLY???? Robert Downey Jr? And who the heqq is
Hunter Hays, Iggy Azalea, Matt Bomer, and Chris Evans???? They were winners. HUH? Never hoid a dem.

Yesterday I wanted to cook... and clean out the fridge.... so I corralled the jalapeño hot dogs, minced garlic, dehydrated spinach, queso blanco dip (OMGOOOD!), capers, artichoke hearts, pesto in a tube, couscous, tomatoes, and butter.

I cooked the couscous in my rice cooker with butter and water. Meanwhile I cut up half the hot dogs, re-hydrated the spinach, cut up tomato, and put these into my casserole Crock*Pot to heat along with the spinach, garlic, artichokes, about 2T of pesto, and capers.....

When the couscous was done I added it in and the queso dip. Mixed well and set on low to heat through.

SUPER GOOD!!!! I liked that queso blanco flavor... cheesy and spicy. Gonna use that again.

All I know. Happy TBT. Nuff said. Ciao.

Male Watchers Day

Ladies, here is a day that you can thoroughly enjoy! On Male Watcher's Day, you get the opportunity to go out and watch the guys. After all, they have their fun watching the ladies. Now, it's your turn, to hoot and holler.
You can perform your Male Watching just about anywhere that suits your fancy. Popular places include:
  • Watching them at work on the job, especially labor jobs where short shirts cover flowing muscles.
  • On the beach...too bad this day is in January.
  • Watching your favorite guy working....on a home project you wanted done.
  • At a singles bar or sports bar.
  • At the mall...it's time to get even. This is where more than one guy has been known to visit for the sole purpose of watching the ladies. This just could become your favorite guy watching location.
It is okay to perform Male Watching discreetly, or quite visibly. Single, unattached ladies may prefer to be seen male watching.......for obvious reasons.
Sorry guys...we did not find a special "Girl Watcher's Day" for you. But, then isn't every day Girl Watcher's Day?
